Donald Trump Mocked Over Multiple Speech Gaffes

Remember how the Alt-Righties laughed for years over "57 states"? Now notice the deafening silence about confusing "Sioux Falls" and "Sioux City"....not even in the same state. LOL

Donald Trump Brutally Mocked Over Multiple Gaffes in Speech
Donald Trump has been mocked on social media after making a number of gaffes during a campaign rally.

The former president made a speech in Sioux City, western Iowa, on Sunday, ahead of the state's Republican presidential caucuses in January; his eighth campaign event in the state in a little over a month.

During the speech at the Orpheum Theater, he said he would win Iowa, saying "there's no way Iowa is voting against Trump," and stepped up criticism of fellow Republican primary candidate, former South Caroline Gov. Nikki Haley, who he called "bird brain" and "a highly overrated person."

But he also made a number of errors, not missed by X, formerly Twitter, users.

When he took to the stage he greeted a city more than 80 miles north, and over the state line in South Dakota. "Hello to a place where we've done very well, Sioux Falls. Thank you very much," he said.

Republican Iowa state Sen. Bradley Zaun appeared on stage a few minutes later and whispered the correct location, Sioux City, in Trump's ear.

The former president nodded and said "Oh," before going back to the microphone and correcting himself by saying: "So, Sioux City, let me ask you, how many people come from Sioux City, how many people? How many? Who doesn't come from Sioux City? Where the hell do you come from?"

In response, the campaign group Republicans Against Trump called him "unfit".....

...Then, he mispronounced Canada as "Canya" while speaking about trade deals, minutes after mocking President Joe Biden for his supposed inability to read teleprompters....

Wasn't it Trump who labeled Biden has being Cognitively impaired, and now Trump is showing the same symptoms, how ironic.

Cognitively impaired’? Trump’s confused attacks on Biden start to backfire

Trump has portrayed the president as too old and too mentally fogged to occupy the Oval Office, but his tactics rebounded on Friday

But Trump’s tactics rebounded when he said Biden threatened to lead the US into “world war two” – and suggested that he, Trump, thought he had beaten Barack Obama for the presidency back in 2016.

Trump did a whole thing during his speech about how terrible it would be if somebody were to give a speech, and say the wrong name of where they were, at the end of that speech, Trump said the wrong name of the city he was in. Trumpers love that shit.

I think we should all give Trump a break as who should be expected to know the names of these cities in these shithole States?

It is clear day to day, Trump has no clue what State or city he is in and we can add that to him now forgetting almost everyone he has run against, as he cannot keep Obama and Biden separate nor Jeb Bush and George W Bush.

If anyone deserves all the mockery he gets, it's #Trumpelthinskin.

Agreed. Donnie is famous for dishing it out but not being able to take it. He's very thin-skinned which is associated with fragile egos. Remember his peevishness about SNL? LOL

Trump Threatens ‘SNL’ With Federal Investigation Because They Mock Him
Donald Trump threatened “Saturday Night Live” and other late-night shows with a federal investigation for poking fun of him, calling it in a Sunday tweet, “one sided [sic] media coverage.”

“It’s truly incredible that shows like Saturday Night Live, not funny/no talent, can spend all of their time knocking the same person (me), over & over, without so much of a mention of ‘the other side.’ Like an advertisement without consequences. Same with Late Night Shows,” the POTUS wrote.

“Should Federal Election Commission and/or FCC look into this?” he added in a subsequent tweet. “There must be Collusion with the Democrats and, of course, Russia! Such one sided [sic] media coverage, most of it Fake News. Hard to believe I won and am winning. Approval Rating 52%, 93% with Republicans. Sorry! #MAGA”

Gallup’s last Donald Trump’s Presidential Job Approval Ratings (for March 1-10, 2019) stood at 39 percent, while 57 percent disapprove.

Donald Trump Says 'Saturday Night Live' Will Be Canceled After Jan 6 Sketch
Donald Trump has once again suggested that Saturday Night Live will be canceled, days after it lampooned the January 6 committee's ninth and possible final hearing.

In a statement on Truth Social, the former president reverted back to his common tactic of attacking a TV show or news network he does not like by suggesting it is suffering from low ratings, as well as saying the long-running sketch show is no longer "funny or smart."...

...On Saturday, the NBC show's cold open spoofed the ninth January 6 hearing, including one section in which James Austin Johnson played the former president asking: "Is Mike Pence dead yet?" in a reference to how Trump allegedly turned his supporters against the former vice president for not stopping the certification of the 2020 election results.

Elsewhere, Chloe Fineman, who was playing Nancy Pelosi, is seen recreating the moment the House speaker is on the phone to Pence as the riot was unfolding. Next to her, Sarah Sherman, who was portraying Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, is also on the phone redirecting a DoorDash delivery, asking to change the drop off point from the Capitol due to some "unfortunate reason."

Agreed, Trump is showing signs of dementia. His reaction to a cognitive assessment test with "Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV" is a clue it's been happening for a while.

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/...n-woman-man-camera-tv-what-screening-tests-do
Person, Woman, Man, Camera, TV: What Screening Tests Do
Should you brag about your score on a cognitive test?
The goals of these tests are straightforward. First, they should reliably assess that someone is experiencing a serious decrease in cognitive ability. These are screening tests for whether an individual is experiencing dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or some other cognitive decline. Second, a screening test should be quick and easy to administer. You want lots of people to be able to use these tests to get a rough estimate of problems.

To enable a quick and reliable assessment, these tests include simple questions. You are asked to follow a pattern, much like a connect-the-dots drawing. You recreate simple line drawings, name the items from pictures (really easy-to-identify pictures, such as an elephant), or list as many words as you can that start with a particular letter. You are asked to count backward by seven from 100.

There are also some memory components; usually, you’re asked to remember three to five items immediately and then again a few minutes later. Finally, there are questions about where you are now and what the day and date are. I’ve seen medical doctors use a few items from the MoCA just for quick checks. I’ve watched trained nurses perform the entire test. I’ve also used the test with family members and I teach my undergraduate students about the measure.

These tests are designed to be easy. How easy? Well, almost everyone should and does get a very high or perfect score. When people experience difficulties with this test, you can be sure they are experiencing substantial cognitive declines....

...Family members typically notice that a person is experiencing a cognitive decline well before other people do. You can see the problems tracking things. The memory difficulties. The issues of managing daily tasks. The problems are easily apparent when the person is in a different location—they may even start to get lost. Often the individual notices that they are experiencing problems—they may ask you how they are doing or if they are "losing it." And let me say, it is painful supporting a family member when they are aware that they are losing their cognitive abilities. They become worried and embarrassed....

...Here’s what these tests don’t measure. They don’t measure genius. Getting a perfect score does not mean one is brilliant. There are other tests that are designed to measure intelligence or to measure preparation for college. Those are IQ tests or tests like the SAT.

Since the MoCA groups everyone without cognitive declines in the top end, it doesn’t distinguish capabilities within that group. Everyone who is not showing cognitive impairment gets a very high score.

I would like to end by providing an answer to the question in my sub-title—should you brag about a great score on one of these measures? Since these tests are designed to be easy and to determine if someone has a decline, then it depends on how you feel about that. If you want to say that you don’t have substantial cognitive challenges, then I guess you could brag about a good score. If you want to say this shows you are particularly brilliant, this isn’t the test for making that claim.

Trumpers, believe it or not, are often dumber than Trump himself. IMO, it indicates a failure of the US education system...the very system the Republicans have sought to dismantle for decades now with attacks on teachers, the DOE and defunding public schools.

I think we'd all have been better off is Jeb! had won in 2016.

yup.

And the republi'cans' realize that the dumber Magats are the easier they are to manipulate and capture their vote, and as such the Red States are very vested in trying ensure each generation is less educated than the one prior and dumber.

Red State leadership is busy lowering minimum working ages so kids can get into the factories at ever younger ages. They want them dumb, married and pumping out kids at the earliest age possible as they know that typically locks them into being dependent worker bees and magat type voters.

Another good reason why Donnie loves the poorly educated. They're easier to swindle.

The funniest thing about this is that Trump does not understand that whoever recommended the test to him, was concerned about his cognitive decline and wanted him tested for dementia.

That the tester said to him, like he was speaking to a 5 year old... 'Good job with the test Donnie, you did so well. Better than almost anyone else' and that Trump believed that shows you how deeply stupid he is.

Every single person who takes that test who is not demented should pass it. It is designed as a Pass/Fail test that only dementia people would fail. So that Trump wears is a badge of skill, again, speaks to how deeply stupid he is.

Relax, your aneurism-in-chief is the biggest gaffe machine in U.S. presidential history, and according to you leftards, he’s done a perfect job so far. That gives me great confidence that gaffes and all, Trump’s 2nd term will be even more spectacular than his first.

Write to your commie congress critters now and tell them to stand by. I expect at least 3 impeachments this time around.

All whipped up by Fox and right wing radio for decades

Lies make people look really stupid when they believe them

The fact Donnie was patting himself on the back for passing a test designed to be easy for people with normal cognitive abilities was the most interesting aspect to me.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...tv-trump-insists-cognition-test-was-difficult
Donald Trump, the president of the United States, has insisted that a cognitive test he took recently was “difficult”, using the example of a question in which the patient is asked to remember and repeat five words.

“Person, woman, man, camera, TV,” Trump explained, saying that listing the words in order was worth “extra points”, and that he found the task easy.

“They said nobody gets it in order, it’s actually not that easy. But for me it was easy. And that’s not an easy question,” he told Fox News medical analyst and New York University professor of medicine Marc K Siegel.

Trump said that a year ago he asked former White House physician Ronny Jackson whether there was “some kind of cognitive test” he could take, he said, “Because I’ve been hearing about it. Because I want to shut these people up. They’re fake news. They’re making up stories.’”

I strongly doubt it was Donnie's idea to take the test.

True to an extent, but people choose what they want to watch and what they want to believe. No one is forcing them to watch Fox.

Agreed.

It is normal for people over 65 to get that test . They are looking for signs of Alzheimer's. Trump shows that all the time. His speeches, even when in office, were disjointed, rambling, and stupid. He is getting worse. I find the test annoying because it is so simple. They ask you to draw a clock and put the hands in at 10:20 as another part of the test.
