Now do you suppose the Founding Fathers envisioned

you retards pretending the constitution of today is anything like what we had before incorporation is hilarious

cities/counties/and states if they actually wanted to could do entire bans on weapons in the old days - the 2nd amendment was only a limitation on federal laws only until the civil war and subsequent SCOTUS fights

The 2nd amendment applies to the federal and State governments, and all county, parish, and city governments. It always has.
It has not been repealed.

It is unconstitutional to ban or limit any gun.

it does now - it is called incorporation. That is not how the law worked in the past though

you will find no reference to the 2nd amendment here or any state challenge on gun laws prior to the civil war- it was irrelevant. your understanding of our laws is sophomoric.

until you actually understand incorporation - you are just a phony on these forums

Okay. Here it is:

2nd amendment of the Constitution of the United States said:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
- it was irrelevant. your understanding of our laws is sophomoric.
No, you just want to discard the Constitution.

'Incorporation' changes nothing. You just want to discard the Constitution.
They do not get to define the Constitution. The Constitution is the ONLY authoritative reference of the Constitution.

It is unconstitutional to ban or limit any gun (or any other weapon).

Irrelevant. Nothing in the Constitution prevents Congress or the states from limiting muskets (or semi-automatic rifles) and Scalia specifically ruled the 2nd does not prevent regulation. Some states do regulate or prohibit such weapons. Political decisions and not constitutional interpretation is the explanation why more of these laws do not exist. Don't blame originalism for the failure of legislative bodies to enact laws you desire.

Blatant lie. See the 2nd amendment.

It is unconstitutional to ban or limit any gun.

Thank you for the correction, I meant to say two thirds of the State legislatures cast the votes. Never underestimate what destruction the SC can do to the amendments with unfavorable rulings.

The Supreme Court has NO authority to change the Constitution.

Nope. This was never the interpretation at any time in our history. Just as free speech, religion, press, and all other rights can be restricted so can the 2nd; for example, violent felons.

Nope. It is unconstitutional to ban or limit any weapon. The Supreme Court has NO authority to change the Constitution.
The 1st amendment does not apply to the States. It applies ONLY to the federal government.

either do you

prior to the 14th amendment countless states placed restrictions because the state constitution was what mattered, not the 2nd amendement

your turn dipshit. pretend all the history doesn't exist.

The 2nd amendment has always applied to all levels of government.

prove it dip shit

show me one case prior to the 14th amendment where a state was restricted by the 2nd amendment. just one

blablabla. all you got is retarded words. what a shame you can't actually prove what you say clown shoes

I am not changing the Constitution. I am only quoting it.

Not according to the laws and constitutions of the central and state governments. There are many limitations on guns determined by those with the authority to do so. A keyboard warrior cannot change that reality.

You are 100 years behind on your constitutional law.
