Just because Ben disagrees with by no means makes him a idiot. It actually points to you being an idiot. He was considered one of the best pediatric neurosurgeons in the country. He went to Yale and he went to a John Hopkins neurosurgery Residency. Trust me they don't give those away :laugh:

Yeah, I have a great technician in my mechanic. Can do wonders under the hood. Same with my dentist. Does great work.

Now, if those people believe in ghosts, goblins, a 6000 year old earth, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, I’ll still go to them for my car and teeth. But, that’s it. They have no business doing much of anything else that requires critical thinking.

My closest roommates have died since then. I root for the Irish, especially against USC, but it’s not a live and die thing like it used to be.

Another athletic event, was your buddy at the UCLA basketball game where the Irish ended their 88 game win streak? That may have been better than winning the football championship. I still have the program from that game. Digger Phelps and the boys.

Yup, my ND buddy was very excited about that. I believe Guard Dwight Clay took the winning shot, if I recall correctly. Also, John Shumate was on the team.
So I guess you also remember the 1973 NIT championship game against Virginia Tech (my Alma Mater). I was ecstatic. My school finally beat ND at something.

Yeah, I do recall that game. VT were the Gobblers at that time, weren’t they? I seem to recall the Irish were up quite a bit and VT had a great comeback
