I use the word "woke" and I am the last person you could call a MAGA anything or a supporter of Trump in any way, shape or form.

To me, woke is not only a much more convenient way of saying "politically correct", but it so effectively reflects the brainwashing of those who first thought it would be a popular concept in practice.

"Let's all awaken ourselves to the never ending suffering and perennial victimhood of the poor, downtrodden American black person. Let's call that state of having awakened ourselves "woke". It suggests awareness, while at the same time, it even sounds black."

Example: "Yo, 'cuz.... you woke? You best git yo'seff woke, yo!!"

So by using it, one reaps the combined benefits of both convenience and taking a little swipe at a non-existent social condition which extremist left-wing, social justice warrior nitwits want us to think really exists.

You weren't using the word Woke ever in your entire life prior to about 18 months ago

The only place it is (or was) genuinely gaining widespread traction and notoriety was in the rightwing media, and from there it leaked into social media and internet forums.

Therefore, it's use as a buzzword of derision is basically a creation of the corporate rightwing opinion shapers.

Again, I don't see the relevance of where it gained traction having anything to do with anything.

To my knowledge, some BLM phonies conjured it up thinking it was going to help push the fake "black victim" agenda, but instead it (hilariously) blew up in their faces and now those of us who refuse to drink the SJW Kool Aid are putting it to good use for the reasons we both noted.

Convenience (me) and derision (both of us).

So what I would say to the wokies is, next time you want to adopt a catchy new buzzword for the purpose of painting one or more of your special protected groups as victims of heterosexual white males, you should take time to think about if and how those of us who don't buy into your fairy tales about evil white monsters, might co-opt it, make it our own and use it to mock your intent.
