Maybe, notice though how the Marines are acting like this was pilot error.
CONCERNING: The US Marine Corps has issued a stand-down of ALL aircraft following the mysterious disappearance of the F-35. Under the order, all Marine Corps aircraft, inside and outside the US, have been grounded.
According to the Pentagon, the pause is to allow units to “discuss aviation safety and best practices,” and that the Marine leadership will use the standard “to ensure the service is maintaining operational standardization.”
What aren’t they telling us?
I think you have a right to be concerned about the military not always telling us everything.
But, I believe this time, THEY STILL DON'T KNOW the reason of the crash.
They haven't had time to investigate the crash site yet!
This was a training mission, so Pilot error is a concern for a 78 million dollar aircraft.
Looks as if the plane was on auto pilot, told the pilot to eject, and flew itself a couple of hundred miles and crashed itself.
That is about all that is known at this time.
Nonsense.

Its hard to know what happened here, especially with as little as we are told. The F-35 is pretty clearly dog shit but also the quality of our pilots is in steep decline. The first thing I would want to know is who the pilot is, rank, flight hours, gender.....this smells like something a poorly trained woman would do.

They know right now what happened, but notice how We The People are not told.
Let's see how long this takes, if we get a good explanation at all ever....that cant be assumed anymore.
Real Story on Fox at 10.

Fuck of with that shit. Chinese metal is ass.
They'd lose a war due to that and that alone.
Like their rifles are accurate or something? No.![]()
Well, that's what happens when you forget to add the charges to fire it...

Those rings just above the fins are the firing charge. If you don't have them, then only the small initiator charge fires and does what you see in the video.
Wreck of missing F-35 found as Marines ground flights
The wreckage of a missing F-35 jet that disappeared Sunday has been found less than 100 miles north of Charleston, a South Carolina military base announced Monday afternoon.
“Personnel from Joint Base Charleston and Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, in close coordination with local authorities, have located a debris field in Williamsburg County,” Joint Base Charleston announced in a statement on Facebook Monday afternoon. “The mishap is currently under investigation, and we are unable to provide additional details to preserve the integrity of the investigative process.”

This was a training mission, quite possibly a test flight, so Pilot error, and plane malfunction are both major concerns for a 78 million dollar aircraft. But, you sure don't want to blame the pilot if this plane crashed itself. And you don't want to blame the plane if it was pilot error, so we are all going to have to be patient here- including the military!
