Joke Biden e-mail shows direct collusion with son's business when VP

Good. Then you’re one of the few righties that actually want to see the proof first. So far, there is none.

Hunter traded in on the name. Big fucking deal. Happens all the time. Trump did it. His kids did it. His son-in-law did it.

Next.

And Hunter was right next to his dad the whole time... so how did Joe not know and how was Joe not involved? ( It's clear that he was quite the participant and cheerleader....)

I wonder if Hunter traveled first class to his business meetings when he wasn't traveling on our dime...

I hope so for his sake, TOP.
Coach is barbaric.
Commercial flying in general has become barbaric.

A president's son should be able to afford private charters, don't you think?

Being the president's son shouldn't have anything to do with it...should it?;) It would bebinteresting to know if he was chartering private planes for some of the business trips when the our planes werent available ... It surely does seem like commercial air travel has seriously declined... I haven't flown since my sister moved from Cali to Florida... it's much easier and more fun to drive...
But I see horror stories all the time...

“It would be interesting….”

No, it wouldn’t. Not to anyone who is not obsessed with Hunter, anyway.

I don't know about driving--not my favorite thing--but I can take a train and be in mid-town Manhattan in about three hours.

Or, I could take a forty minute flight
and then take two hours and twenty minutes to get to Manhattan from LaGuardia.

Which sounds more stressful to You?

As for the president's son, there's no point whatsoever in seeking achievement if achievement brings no privilege.
If I were POTUS, I'd hate to think of my kids screwing around with commercial flights.
That's just me, admittedly.
Populists might think differently.

It's good that you acknowledge that Hunter took advantage of his father being vice president and president...that's an important part of this discussion... I don't mind driving especially if there's not a time limit... we traveled a lot growing up.... so I learned to appreciate what America offers along the way to your destination..lol.. if I were you I'd be taking the train..
We're spoiled here though only 5 minutes from the airport if that... but everything else has changed so much... we used to get on the plane.. and if it wasn't a direct flight make a connection or two and be there... doesn't seem to work that smoothly anymore... whose fault is that?

... whose fault is that?

The transition to cattle car standards is the DIRECT fault of airline deregulation.
Yes, it IS political.

Conservatives don't like regulations.
People like myself believe that we have an insanely underregulated private sector.
That's a HUGE ideological disconnect.

The TSA bullshit is the result of the Islamist terrorism.

The American people let their fear make them sacrifice their convenience.

Here's another way in which I'm different
because I don't prioritize too many things over my comfort and convenience.
Maybe my family, including my dog, of course, but that's about it.

If you have time please let me know how you believe that conservatives don't like regulations... I understand the fear that still lingers after 9/11...I wish I didn't... Don't we all value our Comfort and onvenience for ourselves and our family overall? The rest is just a game we have to play... that's why it's nicer when we've got a good coach...

It's basic conservative ideology.
They're not shy about coming right out and telling us.

I can't recall a Republican President after Eisenhower who DIDN'T openly admit to supporting deregulation.
Actually, I'm understating the situation.
Each and every one of them CAMPAIGNED on it.

How many of your political favorites, for example, DON'T bitch about the EPA?
How many Republicans supported OSHA? FMLA?

One of the most important pillars of the Republican philosophy is SMALL GOVERNMENT.
Not many people on EITHER side of the aisle dispute that, do they?

Progressive liberals are admittedly much less freedom oriented;
we don't support freedom from social responsibility.
That's why we're called "socialists."

Conservatives oppose excessive regulations.

The left always lies about what Conservatives believe.

Small government is the goal of true conservatism, not the bloated monstrosity that the far left Democratic Socialist loons have burdened Americans with.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.... I forgot that you're in favor of government taking over education... which of course I'm totally against and dor good reason......I think when I read your post initially I was thinking more rules than regulations... Democrats and liberals don't want to have Any rules...that's why this country is in such chaos...

OK, you're equating social conventions with regulations,
and they do have both similarities and differences, I think we would agree.

While we may agree that the country is in chaos, which is pretty obvious,
I tend to blame neither progressives nor conservatives.

I tend to blame totally incompatible people trying to share the same government.

It's nobody's fault that huge factions of Americans want totally different things.
My argument is with those who believe that in the end, we all want the same basic things.

I'm actually offended by that concept.
I want the same things as TDAK, volsrock, and Earl???
Hardly.
I genuinely resent sharing the same atmosphere with them.
