Trump isn't in any real danger from any of these indictments.
I'm pretty sure that he actually committed very serious crimes.
I'm not on the jury.
I haven't seen the evidence that the juries will see.
I'm admittedly just going by the fact
that he is a disgusting creature
by my own personal standards of human behavior
and would thus very likely be a recidivist criminal.
Hopefully, the prosecution will have more to work with than that.
Even being personally confident of his guilt, however,
I cannot dismiss the possibility of you being correct,
and that he's possibly indeed in no long term danger.
The primary result of his entire term as POTUS
was to install a judicial system that will protect him in any legal circumstance.
Those judges are there for life.
In any civilized nation, we both know that he'd be incarcerated already,
only because most of them don't lethally inject.
I, at least, won't live to see us become a civilized nation,
while your most fervent wish is that we never become one, is it not?
