This Is the Most Wanted Car in America (and It’s Not Even Close).

Yup. EVs don't need no stinking emissions standards.

EV's are just vehicles that have their exhaust pipes in a different country.

joey wets panties

Yes, it is. Nothing triggers the MAGA morons like seeing the popularity of EVs. It is quite amusing.

They're very anti-technology as part of being anti-science. Remember their reaction to Obama and lightbulbs? They have museums to Noah's Ark, believe in literal Bible interpretations such as the world being 6000 years old counting back to Adam and Eve, that the Moon landing was a hoax, deny the scientific consensus of anthropogenic climate change, and, as you've pointed out, oppose electric cars.

Many are also Holocaust deniers and believe African-Americans were better off as slaves than running around free in Africa.

That's in essence what they are doing.

They are forcing an unnecessary shift to EV's. The feds are subsidizing and even outright funding this shift too. Funny thing is it won't fix a fucking thing... All it will do is impoverish more people.
Like auto manufacturers had to meet emission standards. I get it.

Yes, I get that you disbelief the scientific consensus of anthropogenic climate change where you'd have to take responsibility for yourself and protect your descendants by taking action today. You're a "Drill, baby, drill" guy too, amirite?

Absolutely! Solar and wind are stupid, unreliable, and expensive. Ditch them for what works: Nuclear backed by natural gas.

Millions of federal dollars slated for 54 EV charging projects across Pennsylvania

With millions of dollars slated for Pennsylvania to expand access to electric vehicle charging, officials announced a series of projects receiving the first round of $171.5 million federal grant funding.

Why don't they fix the existing roads, they're loaded with pot holes and debris.
How many gas stations did the government fund? A waste of taxpayer money.

Hot August EV Deals: Volvo C40, Solterra, Ioniq 5, EV6, more

The latest new vehicle transaction report from KBB indicates that electric vehicle supply is still high, hovering at around 100 days, despite the average transaction price of an EV declining all summer long to a year-to-date low of $53,469. Legacy automakers continue to react by tweaking their incentives, and now we’re finding some of the best EV lease deals we’ve seen in a while.

That's what all the buggy whip manufacturers said about those stinky, inefficient automobiles that required gas stations instead of hay for fuel.

We've been through this canard before, and you were proven wrong. The ICE vehicle proved its worth without government having to subsidize or mandate it. It made sense.

People figured out PDQ that ICE vehicles made a hell of a lot of sense...

No, your post was ad hominem in the form of an Appeal to the stone. That is, you tried to use an absurd example to refute me putting it in the form of ad hominem. I countered with an actual historical example of why people were drawn to ICE vehicles. They represented a far cleaner, more efficient, and less costly alternative to the horse.

You always like to drop back and punt, Terry. It's an interesting habit.

Fine, you don't like the analogy of the buggy whip dummies versus the automobile to compare fossil fuel fanatics to electric cars. I understand why you don't like it.

Have a nice day, Terry. :)

No, you like any Leftist follows the same pattern in any discussion.

When something is brought up that runs counter to your point of view or opinion, particularly if it's factual, you

First, try to change the subject.

If that doesn't work, you move to insults and ad hominem

If that fails to divert things away, then you move to profanities, toilet humor, and refuse to discuss anything further.

That's how the Left rolls. It's predictable, just like you.
