This case hasn't finished legal proceedings yet so invalidating the regulations was premature.
The president or congress are allowed to pass regulations which remain effective until whatever lawsuits against them are finished up.
But once again we see the conservative justices siding with the liberals but you will never see liberals siding with the conservatives.
It shows that only the conservative justices actually care about the constitution.

Why is someone going to buy a 3D printer to make a gun when they can go down to the store and purchase one?
Besides do you know how hard it is to make an entire gun with a printer?
If you are off by even a few millimeters the gun will not work.
You need some extreme expertise to pull that off and no, kits do not come with instruction manuals for how to make them.
Also you need a very high quality printer to do it which costs way more than buying a regular gun does.
Even if you make one perfectly their lifespans are extremely short.
They don't last very long.
