Something doesn't have to be American to be a good idea.
This I can see as fact. The UK's National Health Service, for example, isn't American.

If shooting a stupid, gun-wielding goober is un-American,

[and even then, it's hard to imagine any firearms-related homicide being anything other than quintessentially American]

that hardly automatically classifies it as a bad idea.

Only MAGA mooks would be brain dead enough to ask such questions or push such absurd "theories" when the FACTS have Robertson making numerous, detailed threats on the net & FaceBook. Secret Service, HS and FBI responded accordingly to an armed suspect, who warned them not to return to his property "interfering with his freedom of speech" unless ready to shoot it out. They did, he did, he lost.

Reality check for all you MAGA mooks getting all hyped up for the next attempted insurrection. Be careful what you wish for.
