The left's assault against Christians continues

It's a push against Christians and religion.

These government agencies are embracing the new alphabet people and Christians are counter to that.

I give a lot of credit to Kirk Cameron for sticking to his faith and not giving up however.

I believed he became born again when he was 17 and it got him fired from his popular show but he has never lost the faith.

That takes a lot of strength.

If he's truly a Christian, then he wouldn't let a lie be perpetrated under his name.

They did mention they could have accommodated 250, but then found that Kirk and Riley would be there in person, so....it must be something about the individuals that is offending them...
I have respect for anyone who adopts 4 children and has two of their own...
And Riley is a swimmer, so she wins my admiration automatically... :) Both are great role models...
What's not to like?

You equated transgender status with religious status, so of course you did. One is a RELIGION subject to the Establishment Clause. The other isn’t. Get it?

so your argument is that Christianity has more protection under the constitution than transgenders......

Well Kirk has been a Christian and a big supporter of his faith for a long time and Riley is very anti trans in women's sports so I think we can do that math.

I do like here a lot also.

They have no problem letting trannies in to do book readings but if you are a Christian wanting to do a book reading that is off limits.

This is pure government overreach.

What's available to one should be available to all.

The event wasn't cancelled because Cameron is a Christian.

Hey dumbshit, as long as the government is not involved you can practice religion on government property.

This is why the library didn't ban him for that.

They made up some lame excuse that there would be too many kids there and they couldn't handle it.

God you are a fucking retard.

So you would be happier if little kids got trampled to death because the library exceeded its capacity?

"“Until yesterday, you supported the event in Huntsville, AL at every step, including offering a large room at the Madison Public Library branch to accommodate the 250 local residents who plan to attend. However, upon learning that Mr. Cameron and his friend and Brave Books author, Riley Gaines will be attending in person, you abruptly canceled the event citing “security
concerns” from a potential protest of Mr. Cameron and claiming the event exceeds the
library’s capacity,” Dys said in the letter. "

That's strange, because back in DECEMBER, Cameron announced he'd be attending three events in three states.

Straight from the Brave Books press release:

Cameron will be in Hendersonville, Tenn., Huntsville, Ala., and Austin, Tex. Riley Gaines, the former college swimmer who spoke out against men competing in women's athletic events, will join Cameron.
