Wisconsin street preacher arrested after protesting at drag event for families, viral video shows

Four Christians protesting a gay pride even were arrested for protesting this event even though they were in a public space.

The lefts attacks on Christians has been increasing and it's probably only going to get worse.

A Christian protesting a Pride event over the weekend in Watertown, Wisconsin, was handcuffed and detained by police in a video that went viral.

Several members of the Christian group Warriors for Christ were evangelizing at the city's annual "Pride in the Park" on Saturday, an event organizers advertised as family-friendly.

In the video, Marcus Schroeder is reading from the Bible into a microphone when officers surround him and grab his microphone and speaker. As his group questions the officers, they handcuff Schroeder and explain that he was being arrested for violating a sound ordinance about noise amplification.

He was arrested for breaking a sound ordinance, not for the things you claim, it states so in your article.

That's a bullshit charge and you know it.

It's something they used to simply arrest a Christian, you know cops can make up anything they want.

That is why they were all released after being taken to jail, because they didn't do anything actually wrong.

They just wanted Christians out of there.

Apparently these ones were or were ordered to do it.

If you watch the video you will see there was no actual crime committed.

To violate a sound ordinance you have to be over a certain decibel range which they were not.

Hell I live right behind a bar and they have extremely loud bands all the time on the weekend and the cops have been called out and done nothing about it.

It's been so loud my house has shook at times.

Agreed on the noise ordinance. According the link below, the group was warned about it. Time will tell.

The group of Christians claims to not have had a warning before being apprehended to which the officers say they were given a warning at a different location.

The person recording the video said the group was told that they could speak outside on the sidewalk. Another officer says they can not use the speaker and microphone to do this, however....

..."There are cars driving around with radios playing, that is amplified sound, people are standing out here with radios, that is amplified sound.

"The ordinance has to do with a decibel gauge, you don't just get to pick and choose which amplification you like and which you don't.

It's great that they were released.

It's even better that they were removed from the event first.

Using a megaphone does not violate any sound ordinance, it's not that loud.

This is why they were released.

It's good to know you support the arresting of Christians for no reason though, now we know where you stand.
