President Joe Biden made an apparently unscripted remark Sunday night that there will be ‘no more drilling’ under his watch, in response to someone in the crowd at his rally with Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY).

“‘No more drilling,’ he said, waving his hand with a back-and-forth motion. ‘There is no more drilling. I haven’t formed any new drilling.’”

“The person was holding up a sign that read, ‘5 more years of drilling is a lose-lose!,’ and could be heard yelling back at Biden about offshore leases. He responded, ‘that was before I was president. We’re trying to work on that to get that done. Thank you.’”

In fact, Goldman Sachs and other banks have revised their prognostications of next year's economy, substantially elevating them. I am sure Fox, OAN. and Newxmax missed that story.

In all honesty i do not think it is a 'weak attempt'.

PMP is just not very smart and that may be an overstatement of his intelligence.

He watches Fox and OAN and if they tell him world wide inflation did not matter, and even though the US was doing better than almost any other country that does not matter, he swallows that whole and believes it. Same for global O&G issues. He believes the US exists in a bubble that should not be impacted.

What matters is how the US handles things relative to other nations when it comes to global issues, which is something dumb people do not understand. If prices around the world on almost everything are shooting up due to inflation, then a US POTUS will not be able to protect the country from it as US companies buy those higher priced good and pass on those costs. But derps do not understand that.
