The hate party does nothing for 99% of the population , what it exists for is the transfer of wealth to the golden few at the top. They really have no issue that they care about other than give me the money. The ones they claim are all just to buy votes , It's done with hate lies and distortions. They are a slimy group. Trump is their man and nothing else has to be said. His support is exactly the same as Hitlers support was in the 30's and 40"s. From now until the day I die, I will spit on every single one of these traitors when they dare to pass close enough for me to spit on. Trump got them from underneath rock’s where society had put them to keep them away from their children. While many people are leaving states like California (about 60,000 a year go to Texas), more move to the state than leave.

In 2021 they had a net gain of 31,000 and in 2022 it increased to 90,000. CA had 125,000 new residents in 2022.

You sure about that? Saw a NY Times headline that the state population declined by 138K people in 2022. Other articles talk about population decline as well

I found that Times article. There tend to be conflicting reports. Looks like there was a decline in 2020-2021. Here are the ones that show a gain.

Without question, the tactics employed to achieve what you describe above used to be MUCH more subtle. The thieves at least had the decency to lie about their motives.

trump came right out and stated that stupid people got him elected, and stupid people will continue to be his go to demographic.

Until he's elected (never happen again) and then he forgets all about everyone but himself. What's disgusting is that the overwhelming majority of the cowards in the Republican party actually go along for this ride.

I'm not lying. You just don't understand how representation works. A state can gain population but actually lose representation because it loses a relative proportion of the population.

CA representation would be determined by the change between 2010 and 2020 census.

2010: 37,253,956
2020: 39,538,223

CA gained 2.2 million between 2010-2020; so, for representation purposes it gained population but grew slower than other states and had a smaller proportion of the population.

The first article says in migration (I think) to the state increased but it doesn't say overall state population increased. (You can have positive in migration but still lose overall population). Other articles ive seen in 2023 referenced a loss of population in 2022.

The Fed is arguably the number one driver of inequality in this country yet it is so rarely mentioned when people complain about economic inequality. In your opinion, is it because people aren't aware of it (and don't really understand monetary policy in that way) or it's more fun to argue from a partisan political perspective?

It depends on the period being used. It increased between 2010-2020, declined in 2021-2022 and has increased in 2023. It is growing but slowly.

2020: 39,538,223 census updated
2021: *39,237,836 (-0.76)
2022: *38,959,247 (-0.71)
2023: *39,017,686 (0.15)

That was due to trump's illegal tampering with the census. The good news is that the illegal redistricting done by an outside source is being overturned. Dems will pick up the 3 or 4 seats that were lost in '22. Even without the restructuring, Santos is gone.
