Harris admits Bidenomics isn't working

That survey. It would suggest this is an ongoing problem that the Joke administration has done nothing to address, and has made worse with high inflation, higher prices for goods and services, and more regulation and taxes.

Biden inherited one of the worst economic situations in history. Because his predecessor was so incompetent.

We've made great strides since then. It's impossible to argue the jobs #'s.

No President can force people to be more fiscally responsible. An administration can push for more financial literacy to be taught but it's individual actions taken by people that put them in this situation. Yes a better economy helps but people making more money doesn't necessarily mean they are in any better situation if all they do is spend it.

Especially in this era of social media where everyone wants to portray themselves as living large, the idea of living frugally and below ones means is extremely passe.

We've only barely recovered to pre pandemic levels and in many areas the economy hasn't recovered at all.

With respect, if you think Jan 2021 was one of the worst economic situations in history I'd recommend some history books.

"One of" is the qualifier there.

And it certainly was. How many jobs were we down at that point? No comparison to that stat.

There was 4% growth in GDP in Q4 2020. Unemployment was around 6.7%. There was a slowdown in jobs in Dec 2020 but was still positive in the 4th qtr.

Like I said, respectfully, if you think that is one of the worst economic situations in history I'd hit my history book library.

Edit: Since tone can be difficult to deduce on here sometimes I'm not saying that in an attacking manner, rather just two people having a discussion over beers

Nearly all Americans are cutting back on their spending in some way, according to a new CNBC and Morning Consult survey.

The survey found 92% of Americans are pulling back, further evidence of what retailers like Walmart
, Target
, Home Depot
and Best Buy
called out as cautious consumer spending shifts during the first quarter.

Shoppers continue to report inflation squeezing their finances, with concerns particularly heightened among middle-income Americans. Of the survey respondents, 92% of middle-income Americans — or those who make between $50,000 and $100,000 a year — reported being “somewhat” or “very” worried about higher prices.

That’s a higher proportion than those in low- and high-income groups, with 88% of each of those segments reporting feeling concerned about higher prices.

People had more money in their pocket under Trump.

You guys think that because Biden got an interest rate lowered by .5% that this is helping the economy but it's not putting money into people's hands.

No they didn't. How do you get dressed in the morning? Do you have a set of instructions? When exactly did Biden lower interest rates by a half a percent. What the blue fuck are you talking about?

It was an example to show that because the left thinks a few indicators are getting better that the economy is improving but people are not seeing the results of it like they did under Trump.

An example that you just make the fuck up out of whole cloth? Do you ever have a point?
