Heh. You may have your doubts, but Dutch/Sybil (and all of his socks) is quite real. I've seen this sort of condition before, often caused by long term damage from psychoactive drugs (either prescribed or illegal). The damage is permanent. There is no treatment for it. The result here is typical: hallucinations, sometimes appearing as schizophrenia. Paranoia is also quite common with this condition. In Dutch/Sybil, it comes out most as inversions, random phrases from out of nowhere, and thinking people are out to 'get you'. In Dutch's case, he imagines and talks to people that aren't there, refers to subjects and topics that aren't there, and thinks that anyone that isn't one of his socks is a sock.

He's been reprimanded by the mods here before, mostly for violating some aspect of rule 12, but also for rule 16. Indeed, Dutch/Sybil is one of the factors that caused the creation of rule 16. He also routinely violates rule 14, but the mods won't do anything about it.

He thinks he's a patriot since he hails from Texas, when actually he's just another twit supporting the Democrats. He also thinks he works for the FBI. He has also claimed to be a pilot (when he knows nothing about aircraft), a sailing master (when he doesn't know anything about sailboats or maritime law), a psychiatrist (I guess he's just projecting the guy he sees onto himself), and a seer and mind reader.
