If Trump cared about the USA he would step aside, focus on “proving his innocence”, and not put the nation through the nightmare of having the Republican nominee on trial for crimes against the United States.

There are other well qualified candidates who share his culture war passions, he could endorse one and call himself a kingmaker.
 
If Trump cared about America he would fight his persecution by the oligarchs, those who run this illegal and illegitimate government.

I agree, also one of Trump's former lawyers wanted Trump to take a plea deal with the DOJ which would require Trump to turn in all of the documents for dropping the charges but he decline the lawyers advice?!!

Trump sees himself has some kind of super human being who has unlimited power, not unlike the Fuehrer of the 1940s.

Is it a persecution when all Donald had to do was to return the documents and it would have ended peacefully. The responsibility was his and no one else's.
