Taxpayers deserve a say in how their taxes are spent. Private companies can spend their money as they will per the law.

Unless I missed something in your exchange, this has nothing to do with corporations. Taxpayers rarely have a say in how their taxes are spent. But...most states are now realizing that the previous regulations re. trans athletes were not sufficient to level the playing field. NCAA as well. So Red states who are denying trans athletes' entry into womans sports is OK if the taxpayer says so?

Just curious.

I find myself agreeing with the Red states on this until they figure out all of the issues re. male physical superiority in some sports.

Do you believe the NCAA is a private organization or a public one?

While I think the Trumpers, as usual, are overplaying their hand, there is a serious disconnect when transwomen dominate women's sports. I'm fine with private organizations to make that call, but support taxpayer desires when taxpayer funds are used.

The NCAA trans issue is the final product of allowing men to compete against women in amateur athletics. They now realize their folly, and are creating new parameters for trans athletes.

The NCAA is a non profit oversight organization that is not owned by anyone. The overwhelming majority of funding comes from football/basketball revenue.

Not sure why you believe there is a difference when it comes to unfair advantages in sports?
