Ok, I just read the indictment. Here's what I learned: Trump is f.*****

Agreed. More and more Republican leaders suspect that they'd lose the 2024 election if Trump is the nominee.

They will, and that's a win for America.

Read the other day that after years of denigrating mail-in voting, now they're suddenly switching gears. Desperation will do that.

It's simple. A lot of the charges hinge around his possession of the documents. Those are problematic because Trump was president at the time he acquired them. I pointed out the reason earlier EO 13526. He could declassify those documents on a whim. Again, not all the charges have to do with that, but the ones that do are going to be very hard to make a case for.

LOL. That completely ignores the fact that the law Trump is charged with doesn't care if the documents are classified or not. It only requires that the disclosure of information be harmful to the US.

While he could declassify the documents, he couldn't make the information safe to disclose.
Then at least one of the documents he could not declassify since the law doesn't allow him to declassify anything related to nuclear secrets.

Wrong. Your analysis is flawed.

1. The documents left with him when he and his corruption left our White House. He was no longer IMPOTUSx2 at that point and therefore he had no right to keep them.

2. He did not declassify them. In fact, he is on record -- a recording with several witnesses -- saying that the one classified war plans he was showing to them was still "secret." The EO that you referenced gives specific instructions regarding how classified materials are to be declassified. There is zero documentation that #TRE45ON followed these directions.

Executive Order 13526- Classified National Security Information

Trump was already at Mara-Lago when Biden was sworn in.
When he acquired them and whether he declassified them is a red herring.

I think the mail thing worked against them in 2020 since most elderly voters vote Republican. The harder Republicans make it to vote, the less likely the elderly will be able to vote for them.

Yep. They think they're keeping typical (D) voters away from the polls, particularly those who are non-white. Oops!

If he had declassified them, there would be evidence, and the DOJ's investigation would have been stillborn.
Except, from my understanding, some secrets can not be declassified even by the President.

Can you imagine being so desperate for attention and acceptance, you show documents to Kid Rock and ask for his advice? Good Goddess!

That's the plan. What they don't seem to understand are the demographics of elderly Euro-Americans versus the percentage of African-Americans who vote.

Sadly this is true. I think the indictment scares them. Plus it's all legal and has big, hard words and makes #TRE45ON look bad.

I'm surprised that none of the Cultists have blamed the "liberals on the grand jury" for the indictment. Guess the fact that they're more likely to be (R), being FL citizens, has quelled that, for now.

The Indictment is very readable with very little legalese. Read the sample I put in my signature. That's why I doubt seriously that TA read it. No reasonable, lucid person could read it and come to his conclusion.

Key phrase "reasonable, lucid person". No JPP Trumper is a "reasonable, lucid person". Jus' sayin'.

Trump lost the popular vote in 2016. He lost both the popular vote and electoral vote in 2020.
Now, with J6 and all of Trump's indictments still fresh in Americans minds, there's no fucking way he'll find enough votes to pull out a win.

which is exactly the nightmare the Republican leadership are having. They need to explain to their own constituents why Trump is in the wrong without offending them enough to lose their votes.

And the irony is many of the old Trump voters died of COVID-19 over the last few years by refusing to wear masks.
Karma is a female dog.

The indictment is very thorough and concise yet comprehensive. But the thing that really hit home with me was how careless Trump was with this sensitive information and the questionable decisions he made in the process. I mean, it's hard to imagine what he was thinking and what drove him to make the decisions he did. It further highlights the fact that he's just not a very smart person. Left to his own devices, Trump is a very dangerous person.
This is going to be a slam-dunk case and much of it will be due to Trump's own ignorance and ineptitude.

Read the indictment (if you dare): https://d3i6fh83elv35t.cloudfront.net/static/2023/06/trump-indictment.pdf

Is this your expert legal opinion or just the ranting of a radical hate filled left wing idiot?
