Agreed, but to deny people make choices is to deny they have free will. It'd be agreeing that voters are mostly mindless automatons who are brainwashed into voting for one party or another. If that's the case, why not restrict voting to those who can pass an IQ and education test? Same for marriage or any other action normally allowed for a free citizen?

Way back...in the 1980's, before trans was a popular thing, I taught bartending in Manhattan. Two of the students at the school one session were undergoing trans. One was, I gotta admit, a very attractive soon-to-be woman...who wore loose, revealing top garments. She was being treated with trans hormones...and had small, but extremely attractive boobs, which managed to be "accidentally" revealed often.
I was the supervising instructor...and I warned each of the instructors to steer very clear of any interactions that might result in trouble for the school...and to remind each student that porking the customers would be a bad move job-wise.
And of course, I steered clear myself.
