I've engaged the whole time you just whine because you dont get what you want.

It matters because it shows an unwillingness to follow the rules. That's why Brandons documented history of lying matters. It's not accusations it's documented. So given the ease at which be lies it's quite reasonable to be suspicious of anything that comes out of that sewer under Brandon's nose.
