Those are gaffs in the video you posted. You got him. In a speech referring to 2020 when you mean 2022 is a mistake. If you questioned Biden on he would say he 'misspoke' which is what that is.
This below is stupidity and not just a gaffe. If you questioned Trump on it he would stand by it as it is not a misstatement or mistake. it is what he actually thinks is smart and correct.

Trumps aren't gaffes.
We can all make mistakes and call someone by the wrong name or state the wrong year. Those are mistakes, not our beliefs.
What Trump says about disinfectant or 'the wheel', is stupidity. He is saying what he intends and there is no mistake. He just believes stupid things because he is stupid.
It is like MTG or Boebert. They also say stupid things, not because they are saying things by mistake they did not intend. They fully intended it, like Trump, and thought it was smart and correct. That is because they are all stupid.

You are correct on the first part.
But on the second part everyone over Grade 5 already knew the answer to question was him being stupid. Trump just did not know (as you say he was asking) what everyone else laughed at him for not knowing. Far worse than a gaffe. And thus why Trump later lied about what he said trying to say he was not being serious asking it. Trump realized after the fact how stupid he was.
