ROLL TIDE!!!

LMAO. Just as long as you don't send me some GPS coordinates for some bridge over some creek in Colorado where you will then bring a gun and shoot me.

No worries, my long shot is not what it once was. I only play with pistols these days.

Just come on out to Denver. Damo can guarantee your protection :)

Understood, but we here in Florida have no hate for teams that register 0 on the football meter. Personally, I have no hate for any sports team except the Yankees which I was raised with from the day I could say the word "baseball". Football? I love the college game and enjoy following Fla kids on the way up, HS to the pros. I love all 3 teams you mentioned and the pro game reflects the quality of their programs.

'Nother hater that can't stand the most successful pro franchise in the history of any game. Oh well. When all you got to cheer for are the Marlins and the Rays, can't say that I blame you. Oh and when you say the Marlines beat the Yankees, just remember, sun shines on a dogs ass every once and while.:pke:

Wasn't Tebow supposed to be "the difference"?
He was. But from what I understand, Kleenex has given him his first endorsement deal and he is being considered for the lead on the next Lifetime movie. His crying was pathetic! By the way, notice, no shit talking about Denver today? The Chiefs are still looking for a pry bar to get their asses out from between their ears.

We gave them three turnovers...

That was quite painful to endure.... I watched that miserable performance from start to finish.

At least I didn't see anyone crying like a lil Tebow.

I went back and forth between that game and the New Orleans game. That one was good. Wish I had seen the Miami New England game.

yeah and they couldn't figure out what to do with them. Oh well rebuilding year. two more years and we will be back.

We are desperate for an O-line...

My wish list for the draft....

1) If Suh is available... take him... otherwise, take the best OT available. If we do get the OT... move Albert in to guard, Waters to center

2) second round pick.... grab the best guard we can find (or if we get Suh in the first... take the best OT left)

3) Second round pick 2... from Atlanta... best available LB/DE/OT available.

I can't bring myself to turn the channel...

But I did see the end of the Saints game... what a choke by the Redskins... missing that field goal.... right then... right there... it was over.

He was.... that interception cost them the game.

What cost them the game was Alabama being the better team. When 'Bama scored a quick touchdown on 3 or 4 plays in the 2nd quarter immediately after UF's only TD, it was all over. Florida didn't score in the 2nd half. Where were Demps and Rainey, 3 carries between them in the entire game? Myers put too much of a load on Tebow's shoulders.

That is a good start. We need to stay away from any RB's WR's TE's and just concentrate on O line and D

and he broke down into a simpering little crybaby....

Not quite the tough guy myth Tebow lover's would have us believe

And I can't bring myself to watch. Redskins should have won. Would have made their pathetic season a little less pathetic.

we have a RB, Favre proves a good QB with time can make WR's better.

It all starts with the lines. You must be able to protect your QB and disrupt your opponents.

Just look what the Huskers D line did to Texas.... though they chumped it at the end (thanks in large part to a kick out of bounds)... that was a hell of a defensive effort by Big Red. That is how you pressure an opposing QB.

Suh... 3.5 sacks... 10 tackles... from a DT... I doubt he falls to the Chiefs, but if he does... that would be friggin awesome... despite the fact that we have used our first rounder on D line picks the past two years. Suh with Dorsey and Jackson would be a young formidable front three. With Hali coming off the edge we might finally be able to take some pressure off the DB's and 'backers.

The Yankees are not a sports team but a wealthy business made so solely by the size of the market, buying players developed by others. It's corporate baseball pure and simple. They should win more than they do with a $1/4 billion+ payroll. The NFL and NBA get it right but baseball has anti-trust immunity.
The Marlins have produced a lot of interesting and winning teams in their short history, the Yanks love to sign their stars rather than develop their own. That said, I was raised with it, they will always be the "damn Yankees", blame my father. I suspect a few Red Sox and Mets fans, etc., might side with me.

You've never seen players on losing teams crying on the sidelines in a game as important as that one? It was the entire season in a single game. Because it was Tebow, that's where the cameras went. Tebow's a great kid and a credit to college football and UF. What you saw was the letdown that comes after playing his heart out and losing, but, from what I see on these boards, I'm sure that feeling and result escapes quite a few of you.
Maybe the teams you follow don't have much to lose, so no player reactions. Who even knows who the Buffaloes are? (I don't know the name of the other Colo. team aside from State.)

It didn't matter. Alabama dominated every phase of the game. The Florida offense didn't have much time on the field, and the Tide dominated then too. Coach Saban said it best, we didn't come for a 'moral victory.'

I think a lot of what you are hearing from Alabama fans, is a sort of contempt for Tebow, because the media has been swooning over the guy his whole career. It's become almost ridiculous, there are other very talented athletes in the SEC. In the lead-up to the championship game, we listened to the 'experts' say Alabama and Florida were equally matched, but Florida had Tebow, and that made Florida the favorite. So, for us to see Tebow crying on the sidelines, was PRICELESS!

Now that the but kicking and humiliation are over, and Bama owns that ass... hehe... I'll be rooting for Tebow from here on out! He is a great competitor with a lot of heart, and seems to be a pretty classy guy. I don't dislike him, and I wish him the best of luck in the NFL, or whatever he does.

Oh my goodness....I agree totally with this. Don't any of you Dixie-haters go to hating on me. ;) I hate the media all swooning over players...like Tebow & McCoy...or whoever it might be next year. Both the kids mentioned seem to be good kids and I hope for the best for them from here on out. Loved seeing Florida get whipped though. Look forward to the championship game and really don't care who wins...just hope it's a good game.
