Seems there is actual research proving it...

So, they asked the people themselves

My personal experience observing family is that liberals seek help more often than do conservatives for depression and other issues.

So there's no way to verify if Twitter guy is accurately representing the study, or if Twitter guy is leaving out key details

Seems so. I really did look for it too. Found a bunch of other Twitter posts on this, but always ended up at that page that was taken down.

There was a lot more to that Pew study that either side could frame, however, regardless of any study, ain’t “liberals” who are out there shooting up grocery stores, Walmarts, churches, synagogues, etc., nor, sending bombs and suspicious materials to political opponents

It goes with believing in science and the medical professions.
There are lots of rightys on this board that should seek help.

Twitter guy is leaving out key details. The question is an afterthought after all the questions about Covid, recession, and general worries about the two.
The full dataset can be found here:

https://www.pewresearch.org/politic...s-most-americans-expect-a-recession-or-worse/

After randomizing questions about worries about the economy, Covid and questions about their own mental health because of the crisis, the questions always end with:

One last question has a doctor or other healthcare provider EVER told you that you have a mental health condition?

Basically, you are asking questions that will make one group more worried and then asking them if they have a mental condition after you have them all worked up. Because the question was not asked in a random fashion, you can't really use its results the same way you can with the other questions.

Edit- Pew recognizes this because they don't include the question in their report. You have to dig into the data to find it.
