Ok. It has been in the works for 30 years correct? And in your opinion? What is their end game? I'm thinking your going to say, tax the air we breath.

What other options do we have? They fine the polluters small potatoes in regards to their profits. They could shut them down but that would cause job loses.Or the company passes the cost down to their consumer, so we pay anyways? Or do we just do nothing and watch our enviornment deteriorate?

The only options is to help out these companies, especially the ones that cant afford better technology for cleaner emmissions?

Your basic belief must be that the universe has always existed and along come two particles or gases(out of nowhere), they collide, cause an explosion and the physical universe is created as we know it. Where did the 2 particles/gases come from?Where is the source?

The only thing that will grow is pollution in our air, waters and soil. Which eventually makes it to our bodies. And if the earth starts to heat up? Expect natural disasters to increase that will lead to millions of deaths but hey! The economy is growing(note sarcasm).

Nonsense. We can reduce pollution without playing chicken little about man made global warming. We keep hearing from alarmists that natural disasters will increase, the cities at sea level will be destroyed etc... etc... etc... It is nothing more than fear mongering.

What a crock. Stating that global warming caused by man is myth doesn't equate to 'liking our dependency on foreign energy'. We can reduce that dependency simply by drilling our own reserves of oil and nat gas. Which oddly enough would give us greater control over the environmental standards by which that oil and nat gas was produced. Clean and alt energy jobs can certainly help reduce the dependency as well. So on that we agree. As for your final comment, that simply shows ignorance. It is common for the alarmists to accuse opponents of working for 'big oil'. Quit being an ignorant parrot.

They say that burning fossil fuels is the main cause of GW and I agree. Can you imagine 2 billion cars burning carbon minoxide all day and not to mention Factories? What do you think that does to air quality?

I dont know where GOD comes from but the origin of the universe points to a super intelligent entity. Not a void of nothing like you believe. And this entity is still sending out data/information(through energy) on all kinds of levels.

They are just using a term that everyone is familiar with. Its not the actual Co2 that is bad, unless we produce more than the trees and oceans can turn into oxygen. Its the other pollutants that come from burning fossil fuels.

Can you prove they are liars? The facts are and they cannot be disputed is that the planet is warming up. And even if it is a natural phenomina? These pollutants in the air cannot be making the situation any better. If we do nothing we are making a pretty big gamble, seeing that the effects of GW are already evident and an aiding of the escalation will have many consequences.

I agree with you on almost everything else on this board. Things like the war is for profit and population control. Nothing to do with freedoms. But on this subject? I disagree. Whether they are correct or not about the contributing factors of GW, is not the point. What is really important is that we clean up our act so to speak when it comes to pollution.
