Daniel Penny charged with manslaughter in Jordan Neely’s subway chokehold death

Neely was unarmed, so do you think death is a reasonable punishment for what are essentially, if they happened, empty death threats?

Nonsense.

Ashli Babbitt, an Air Force veteran and California native, fatally shot at Capitol - The Washington Post

She was UNARMED and the coward who shot her is free to walk the streets.

Neely got what all thugs who threaten innocent people should get.

You have strange heroes.

Not at all. Earl seems to think that Neely is at fault for his death. I'm just curious of Earl really believes that or not.

I don't seem to think, I believe Neely is totally at fault for his death. His actions caused his death.

Unarmed doesn't mean not dangerous. Ashli Babbitt was unarmed and killed by capitol police. The JPP poster named, Biden President has said the killing was justified because her intent was to kill a congressman. If that's the case then neelys death is not only justified but commendable given Neely's history of threats and violence.

He certainly does not.. what a horrible thing to suggest

Indeed.

Just another far left loon who would defecate in his pants were he presented the same dangerous situation.

""Nobody wants to kill anybody. Mr. Penny didn’t want to kill that man," she said. "You should have seen the way Mr. Penny looked. He was distraught. He was very, very, very visibly distressed. And he didn’t go. He didn’t run. He stayed."

This is from a witness, not some far left loon.

You have no clue what Penny wanted.

Well people like Biden President think they know people's intent. BP said Ashli babbitt deserved to be killed because she was there to kill a congressman. Maybe BP knew ashli babbitt and she shared her intent but I suspect not.

Believing that Penny should be charged doesn't mean that I see Neely as a hero.

So, as I asked previously, do you believe a cop would have been justified in shooting/killing Neely had one been on the scene?

We shall see what the investigation brings... the defense will be solid... and fully supported by the majority for good reason...

Depends on the circumstances. As crazy as Neely was I bet he didn't threaten or assault many cops.

If restraint was not effective, yes, shooting the violent thug who the police knew from previous attacks, would be merited.

Oh, good point.

Yep. pEarl seems to think that all flight attendants are dainty little ballerina-sized weaklings like himself. Apparently he hasn't flown on a commercial flight for years. He is correct that other passengers often assist when it's necessary to take down someone who's being disruptive. And still, they manage to do it w/o killing anyone. Amazing.

It's pretty clear. He held the submission hold exactly as long as he needed to, until Neely went limp, then he immediately rolled him onto his side for safety. He did exactly what he wanted to do.

People are restrained/controlled all the time without killing/submitting them. I posted a link on a previous page about female teachers who held a man that had jumped the fence into the school yard. It happens on airplanes, as you mentioned.
Hell, Walmart employees hold shoplifters without killing them.

Wrong.

I am 6'2' 205 lbs. and flew air frames under stressful conditions for a living.

Just continue your nocturnal flights in search of rats, mice and snakes, a very toxic diet for humans.

Have you ever landed a Twin engine "Otter" on a 1200 ft. dirt (often covered with snow and ice) with a 1200 ft. cliff at the stop end of the runway?
