Biden will not do debates

And...his antics post election loss are now fodder for attack by Biden. Say nothing of his record from his tenure as POTUS... something he couldn't allow to be discussed in '20. Which is why he had to resort to the tactics you mention.

How can we forget 'stand back and stand by'. ?

Trump has never lost an election. There was no election in 2020.

Why don't you write a book?
Wait, do you know what books are? If you do, there is a great need for a book on that theme since it is certain none yet exist while countless books are in libraries and elsewhere that tell us in so many words that The United States was founded as, and remains, a representative democracy, i.e., a society with a government composed of citizens chosen by other citizens, as compared to a direct democracy as the Athenians tried for a time. Of course there is still some direct democracy. We have it in many small towns where direct democracy is not impracticable and important questions like the annual budget can be decided by residents at town meetings.
So give this book idea some thought.
Books do not define types of government. There is no such thing as a 'representative democracy'. Democracies have no representatives. There is no such thing as a 'direct democracy'. A democracy is government by popular vote. There is no constitution, and there are no representatives.
A democracy is an unstable form of government. It usually dissolves into an oligarchy or dictatorship before long. Athens dissolved into a dictatorship.

The United States was organized as a republic. That is government by law...a constitution. That constitution specifies representatives, what power and authority they have, how long they may serve, and how they are to be elected.

The Democrats want neither a democracy nor a republic. They want and have implemented an oligarchy (a dictatorship by committee).
Democrats discard the Constitution of the United States and all State constitutions.

Any sentient human knows that this is not just any election.
This part is correct.

If the 2024 election occurs, and Trump wins, the Democrats will go ape, and there will be war.
If the 2024 election occurs, and Trump loses, the Democrats will go ape, and there will be war.
If the 2024 election faults like the 2020 and 2022 elections, due to election fraud by Democrats, there will be war.

Democrats will start it. Conservatives will finish it.

Allowing trump to complete what he started in '17 would be the end of the nation as we know it.

He's promised as much.

Beat him in '24, and sit back as he slowly dies in front of millions.
See the Trump platform.. It says you are a liar.
He's younger then Biden, and Trump does not have dementia.

What a convoluted conspiracy you have constructed. The crazies have liked your post too.
What did you say when Trump said he will not debate?

He didn't, but I'll say what I say...debates on TV don't mean anything anymore.

Trump IS debating...he has published his platform. You apparently have forgotten that social media and the internet are viable forms of media.

Yes it was organized as a republic, like The People's Republic of China, The Democratic Republic of North Korea, the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and every other national government in the world that is not a monarchy. Whether there is such a thing as a "representative democracy" is a question only about the meaning of words. Learn the answer. While you're at it, learn what a republic is.

1) I did a word search on the word debate in your article and got zero hits.

2) You had to hop in your time machine and time travel back to deep in the 20th century to track down examples of sitting incumbent presidents who faced a serious primary challenge.

3) There is no challenger within 20 percentage points of Biden, nor is there likely to be.

4) Anyone sentient human who has followed politics for more than six months knows it's a cardinal rule of the political game to not debate opponents who are so far behind you in polling numbers that they don't even rate as a viable opponent.

You aren't paying attention then.

No, you cannot label every government in the world the same thing.
Whether there is such a thing as a "representative democracy" is a question only about the meaning of words.
There is no such thing. Buzzword fallacy. Democracies have no representatives.
Learn the answer. While you're at it, learn what a republic is.
A republic is government by law...a constitution.

It is not normal for a sitting president to debate in the primaries. I wish they would, but giving some meaning to Biden not doing it, when nobody does is silly.

Well, Biden is hardly a normal president. I can't remember a more incompetent, less involved, stupid one that we've had in history than Biden. His senility alone is reason he should be doing lots of debates and face time to prove that he isn't the doddering, senile, idiot he looks to be every time he gets in front of a camera. Or, maybe that's why is handlers are hiding him again this election...

The televised debates are for idiots.

You have two minutes to give an answer that will solve the world's problems.

Everybody's mic is on live at the same time, so they speak over once another.

The moderators ask stupid questions to begin with.
They're TV personalities, not PhD's in political science.

Go to the candidates' websites.
Read their uninterrupted views, expressed with all the time needed to express them.

The debates are to choose which personality you like,
and people voting personalities instead of issues
is how America has become the dumpster fire that it is now.

Every four years I hear from you people about how the Democratic nominee is worse than anyone we’ve ever had.

You must be brand new to politics.

I can't think of a single incumbent sitting president who debated primary opponents in his party's nomination process, in my adult life. A very simple and basic rule of politics 101 is not to debate people who are 30 or 40 percentage points behind you in polling data.

Ford and Reagan had debates in the 1976 Primaries. It's not "adult" life, but it is certainly within your lifetime.
