Did you ever ask a Republiclown what WOKE means? What did they say?

This Rightwing chick wrote a book about woke, but she couldn't define it when quizzed by an actual journalist.

If the Republiclowns think they can win back the White House by scaring voters about this Woke thing, then they should plan on losing the popular vote for the 8th time in the last nine presidential elections in 2024.

Because I've never gotten the same answer twice.
Can someone please tell us what "being Woke" means?

To the Republicans the word woke is used to put down African Americans, without having to use the N word.

While not a "Republiclown" whatever that is, Woke as a political term is fairly easy to define.

Woke is a term that describes someone on the Left or radical Left that is working to push their political agenda of social and economic change to align with Leftist dogma down everyone's throat, regardless of consequences.

Now, defining / describing that dogma would take considerably more effort to list, but the idea here is the definition of Woke is being a Leftist or radical Leftist who is myopically and totally focused on fucking the planet with an equally narrow and ill-though out set of political goals.

Woke is someone who just became aware that blacks and other minorities are being mistreated by American institutions. They include police, justice departments, banks, schools, and jails among others. It is not a movement. It is a person becoming aware.

Why did you have to invent a new phony buzzword for that? Cable ratings? Because that is just what the radical Rightwing have been complaining about for 40 years.

Bzzzzzt.

Wrong. It's social awareness. That's it. That's all it is.

Anyone who isn't woke, is asleep.

Is that YOUR definition or THE definition. Methinks it's the former. If that's the case, it doesn't count.

You know, I googled it and that's pretty much what I got:
Aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues
(especially issues of racial and social justice)

It's no wonder TA Garbler and other Republiclowns hate it.

I didn't invent the word. I only defined it. Explain how my definition is wrong. That is, after all, the subject of this thread.

Wrong! It's more than that.

Social and economic justice are Leftist dogma and values.

To be “woke” once meant to be alert to the continued realities of oppression, particularly the oppression faced by Black Americans. But today, its meaning has shifted. To be “woke” is to lack urgency about building the coalitions that can win over working-class people and actually redistribute money and power to the oppressed.

This isn’t to say that progressives have to avoid questions of social justice to win a mythically conservative working-class, but that we need to acknowledge the reality that working-class people of all races want basically the same things: good jobs, secure housing, dependable health care, and the ability to provide for themselves and their families. Framing universal concerns with identity-focused messaging or language stolen straight from academia is a huge mistake.

woke
[wōk]
VERB
past of wake
ADJECTIVE
DEROGATORY
alert to and concerned about social injustice and discrimination:
"he's an activist and very woke" · "woke culture has moved into mainstream journalism" · "my neighborhood is a very woke area" · "we need to stay angry, and stay woke"

It is exactly as I defined it. That is, it someone on the Left or radical Left that has fully embraced Leftist dogma and politics and wants to force everyone else to accept without question those values and positions.
