Tucker will work but lemon tart, not so much.
Neither will, Carlson will downspin to OAN, NewsMax, or something similar, probably increase his Internet/Social Media activity, but like O’Reilly, eventually fade in relevance. The other guy isn’t falling as far, and I’d guess, radio
Carlson will need a platform. It would be interesting if the "golden microphone" was passed to him, but there are a couple of guys in that airspace now. My best guess, as I said before, will be that you will see Carlson (and maybe even Lemon) on News Nation in the future.
He has dedicated followers - many platforms will be desperately looking to sign Tucker.
Obviously nothing of the sort is the case with Don Lemon. the new left has the smallest tent in town, and he is no longer allowed inside it

Carlson will find an outlet - but without Fox, it isn't clear how successful he'll be. Rush built his empire through an entirely different route.
I'm curious to see if he maintains the kind of visibility he has had. I tend to doubt it. His viewers are Fox viewers, and a lot of them are older. They're not looking all over for podcasts and alternative media sources.
Limbaugh couldn’t do TV, tried it and was laughed off the screen
And Tucker isn’t going to radio, even Sirius, it took years for Limbaugh to build his audience, as I said, he’ll descend down O’Reilly’s path to irrelevance, make a lot of money in the process with lesser networks and live performances, but eventually fade

Many on-air personalities have veered away from journalistic principles & integrity - but Carlson really abandoned those concepts. Liar, demagogue, hate monger - that's his resume.
Lemon wasn't as bad, but he was hopelessly partisan.

Tucker Carlson did something I have never seen from another personality - he said he was dead wrong abut Iraq and apologized
He stopped being a mouth piece for the establishment view - something Lemon will never be able to claim to of done

As what? Even he admitted in court he shouldn't be taken seriously. Fox said the same thing. He admitted he hated Trump and was lying for money.

I'm glad Tucker is off the air, with his right-wing rhetoric?!! It was Tucker who pushed that replacement crap, that got ten killed in a supermarket in Buffalo NY, and more recent he urge the Texas governor to pardon a convicted murder who killed a BLM protester and he is doing it too?!!
