Israeli archaeologist ; No evidence to support Israelites. Old Testament is a myth.

I agree there is no evidence of a wealthy, sophisticated, powerful regional kingdom during the unified monarchy. A smallish tribal Kingdom probably fits the available evidence.

The Rome that Romulus allegedly founded was just some huts along the Tiber river, and it probably basically stayed that way for centuries

Agreed. What was considered a wealthy kingdom 3000 years ago would have been any fortified village above subsistence levels of survival. Having the ability to grow and store grain along with the ability to protect it from raiding nomads would have been quite an advancement.

We can thank the Carthaginians for pushing the Romans to leave their huts and build a navy. LOL

The origin of these conflicts is to be found in the position which Rome acquired, about 275 BCE, as leader and protector of all Italy. The attendant new obligation to safeguard the peninsula against foreign interference made it necessary not to allow the neighbouring island of Sicily to fall into the hands of a strong and expansive power. Carthage, on the other hand, had long been anxious to conquer Sicily and so to complete the chain of island posts by which it controlled the western Mediterranean.

Man I love Roman history!

The North American Indians built some substantial fortified towns and cities in pre-Columbian times, but because they were generally not using stone architecture, the remaining archeological evidence for them is pretty slim.

Mud bricks don't have a lot of resistance against floods or periods of torrential rains over 3000+ years.

My advice to you is to quietly fuck off.

Almost certainly.

I've read some scholars of the region on both sides refer to each other as cousins.

Yeah, and stop building settlements and stop stealing even more land by expansion and encroachment.

It's remarkable that people with the same heritage and whose religions are very similar on all the important points, could be mortal enemies.

I think it's always been about politics, water, and land; it's never been about religion

Zionism is guilty. It was always a despicable doctrine of murder and ethnic cleansing- as is evidenced by the writings and speeches of its early leadership. The appalling actions of the imperialist British enabled it and self-serving America keeps it fed and watered.

Before Zionism;

Of course, mendacious defenders of Zionist criminality claim that the animosity is ancient. Horseshit. Zionism is racist.

Look at other primitive peoples, be it Teutonic tribes or Native Americans.
FWIW, slavery has existed all over the world for all known human history. It wasn't an invention of the Euros and existed in the Americas long before the Euros arrived.

Agreed human conflict is about resources or geography. Religion has been used by group leaders to motivate the population to fight and die for the group. That's a perversion of most religions, but unfortunately all-too-common in human history into the 21st Century.

Abraham is the patriarch of both Judaism and Islam.

I agree that conflicts are rarely really about religion. The 30 years war itself had political dimensions which are rarely discussed, because it easier to just say it was just Protestant against Catholic hate

Exactly. Both Moses and Jesus are mentioned as prophets in the Quran....with Moses being the most mentioned person in the text.

https://www.whyislam.org/story-of-moses-in-the-quran/
Among the prophets mutually revered by Islam and Judaism is the prominent figure of Moses or Musa, peace be upon him (pbuh). A descendant of Joseph, also known as Yusuf, (pbuh), Moses played a definitive role in restoring freedom to the Israelites. While he encountered many victories, he also experienced hardships in his life.
