Obama's job approval rating has now dropped below 50%, but that is not the big news. Every president since WWII, with the exception of JFK, eventually dropped below 50% approval. The stunning news is how quickly Obama dropped to this point. Only Gerald Ford, who pardoned Richard Nixon, and Bill Clinton, who won with less than 50% of the vote, have dipped below 50% in their first year.

Contrast this with Sarah Palin, who's approval rating is up to 43%, and sure to grow as she becomes better known through her new book, interviews and public appearances. I just think this is amazing, given the hoopla of 'hope and change' ...the dawning of a new era... rock star obama... obamamania... Michelle in the garden... daily news conferences... daily fluff stories on the obamas... contrasted with, the Official Left-wing Sarah Pain Hit Squad working 24/7 to bring this woman down using any means necessary.
 
I disagree. I would say at this point, there is a lot of difference.

You want to make her out to be another Bush, but nothing she is saying is even remotely similar to anything Bush said, with the possible exception of her personal faith in God. From a policy standpoint, she is light years from Bush, and from McCain for that matter... more along the lines of Ronald Reagan... now, if you said the only difference between Palin and Reagan was lipstick, I would have let that stand.

I think it's kind of hilarious that you think Sarah has a left-wing hit squad teeing off on her (which I agree with), but you think Obama doesn't have a similar right-wing hit squad teeing off on him (he does).
 
Obama is also dealing with a worse financial crisis than any president since WWII.

No, it's not the worse economic situation since WWII. The late 70's had much higher unemployment, inflation and interest rates. You've been suckered into believing this by people who want your money and more power.

I think it's hilarious you watch MSNBC and still can't see the obvious bias! While Chris Matthews is getting tingles up his leg over Obama walking into the room, Katie Couric is editing her interview with Palin so that she is shown in the worst possible light.

No, I don't think the hit squads are equal at all... I think the media, for the most part, is in the tank for Obama and the liberals. The media is a very powerful member to have on your 'hit squad', wouldn't you agree?

Let's just take an objective look at the pathology for both Obama and Palin. We are constantly bombarded with fluff stories about Barrack and Michelle... He is compared constantly with JFK... Vanity Fair portrays a buff Obama on the beach... Chris is getting tingly legs... etc. Meanwhile, all Obama detractors are categorized by cute little pet names... teabaggers... birthers... unsophisticated... racists... etc. etc. Contrasted with Palin on the cover of the tabloids, the media speculation about her special needs child not being her own, the "jerry springer" reporting on Levi Johnston, and every political talking head in Washington, telling us how inept and unqualified she is, on every Sunday morning talk show since she emerged on the scene. She is lampooned by late night talk show hosts and SNL comedians, trashed relentlessly on left-wing blogs, and not even given serious consideration by members of her own party at times. Her supporters are much the same as Obama detractors, categorized into derogatory little groups, hicks and rednecks, people who are uneducated, stupid people.

Yet... Obama 49% --- Palin 43% ...I think that is astounding! Given the POSITIVE bias toward Obama and the NEGATIVE bias toward Palin, in the mainstream media.
 
I don't think there is an Obama hit squad on MSNBC. Fox is, 24x7, as are the teabaggers, and talk radio.

ODS is just as strong as BDS. If you can't see that, you're a hack. Period.
