With Kennedy's announcement, the field of Democratic challengers is growing as a GOP maelstrom is brewing, meaning Biden will have to fend off Democrats and Republicans as he tries to hold on for a second term.

Kennedy is angling to be in a position to try and force the topic of discussion for the upcoming campaign, not unlike Nader tried years ago. Given the degree of animosity between the parties, I seriously doubt they would conspire to keep Kennedy out of the debates (assuming he gets the votes to enter them). This might get interesting.
 
I swear we're going to have a rehash of 2020... Gah... We can do so much better than this. There are 340 Million Americans, we can find somebody more qualified and better than FJB and/or tRump.
