I am just saying, when it becomes a fact that teachers are armed, the people that commit these kind of crimes will just adjust their methods to compensate for that.

Do you think that bank robbers are going to be deterred, knowing there will be armed security in Banks?

No! They just work it into their plans to surprise them, and take them out of their way first thing.

now imagine if they had to worry about 6 people being armed. see, MOST bank robbers aren't looking to kill immediately. some might, sure. but most will not. so basing your theory on the notion that ALL bank robbers will commit immediate murder means that WE will have to adjust.

four of your six links the same study which included data on suicides........no mass shooting were included in the 133 shootings examined......presumably because there were no mass shootings where staff were armed......
a fifth is an interview with someone who says she assumed that staff in the Tennessee shooting were licensed to carry but states she wasn't sure if any were armed on the day of the shooting....
the last is about the security officer at Uvalde who was the first person killed by the shooter........

I suggest you try harder next time unless you just want to admit you have nothing.......

The only guns I saw 50 years ago in civilian hands were shotguns, revolvers, traditional bolt action hunting rifles, and the occasional semi automatic surplus WW2 carbines, and a smattering of semi auto pistols.

Firearms have become more ubiquitous and Conservatives made high ammunition capacity semi auto military style assault rifles widespread and easy to obtain, and conservatives made it easy for just about anyone to obtain them, including the mentally unstable

Federal law prohibits mentally unstable people from owning a gun. Gun laws don't work. Revolvers can be fired and reloaded very fast. Semi auto pistols can be fired and reloaded even fast.

Hardening the target is the only way to reduce school shootings. Laws will not take guns out of the hands of criminals. Someone that is willing to murder won't follow gun laws.

You must have overlooked this one that examined mass shootings and the presence of armed guards--exactly what was being discussed.

Do you have any data/studies with different conclusions?

That requires a diagnosis from a licensed doctor.

Many mentally unstable people, maybe even most, refuse to go to the doctor and get diagnosed. Conservatives have not only flooded our nation with high ammunition capacity semi automatics, they have made sure they are easy to obtain.

Revolvers can be fired and reloaded very fast. Semi auto pistols can be fired and reloaded even fast.

There's a reason revolvers, shotguns, and bolt action rifles are not generally used in mass shootings.

High capacity magazines are not designed for deer hunting or recreational target shooting.

They are designed to ensure maximum lethal carnage to human targets.

I overlooked nothing....apparently you didn't read your own links........they examined 133 school shootings........most of them were suicides.......give us a study of MASS SHOOTINGS, thank you.......has there ever been a mass shooting in a school where the staff was armed..........I'm not aware of any......feel free to list them.......I will spot you Uvalde where the security guard was the first victim.....
