Russian, Ukrainian, and Western sources observed on April 1 that the Russian winter offensive has failed to achieve the Kremlin’s goals of seizing the Donetsk and Luhansk oblast administrative borders by March 31.

Russian milbloggers fretted that Russian forces must finish their offensive operations in Bakhmut and Avdiivka to prepare for the Ukrainian counteroffensives they expect between Orthodox Easter on April 16 and Soviet Labor Day on May 9.

Russian Milbloggers highlighted their disappointment that there have not been any decisive battles throughout the winter and observed that Russia will not be capable of continuing a large-scale offensive operation if it is unable to secure Bakhmut and Avdiivka in the coming weeks.

The Empire does not give a fuck what the West thinks so they are not even trying to communicate with is, and the Western leaders Mind Molders lie constantly....it is hard to know. But it does appear that the Russian plan to rubblize Ukraine until they do as they must is still working.

It doesn't seem to matter.

Putin will have all of Ukraine's infrastructure destroyed by late summer, as the rest of the world clutches its pearls.

I was told last Autumn by Putin's fan boys here that Russia was going to destroy Ukraine's power grid and freeze them into submission over the winter. In hindsight, that didn't even remotely come close to happening.

I can see Americans surrendering if we lost our air conditioning and central heating.

But I think we tend to routinely underestimate how hardy and tenacious Ukranian nationalism is. I really don't see them surrendering because of destroyed infrastructure. They certainly didn't when the Nazis turned Ukraine into a wasteland.

Russia to offer food for North Korean weapons - US

Russia is sending a delegation to North Korea to offer food in exchange for weapons, US national security spokesperson John Kirby has said.

Mr Kirby said any arms deal between North Korea and Russia would violate UN Security Council resolutions.

The US has previously accused North Korea of supplying arms to the Russian military in Ukraine and the Wagner group of Russia mercenaries.

Pyongyang earlier denied the claims.

Mr Kirby told a news conference the US had new information about a deal.

"We also understand that Russia is seeking to send a delegation in North Korea and that Russia is offering North Korea food in exchange for munitions," he said.

The security spokesperson said the US was monitoring the situation, and the alleged deal, closely.

North Korea is one of the poorest countries in the world and has experienced chronic food shortages for decades, including a devastating famine in the mid-to-late 1990s.

Russia is being integrated into the Chinese economy, to include on the military front, they are essentially one country now, that is what we created.

North Korea and Iran are part of the Empire now....likely so is Pakistan.
 
There will be retribution for the mistreatment of Russia after the Soviet Union died....this Hell we are in is largely of our own making.

I agree that Ukraine did indeed foil Putin's plans for this winter. Only because the Western world sent generators over there so there would be a modicum of normalcy.

What we're now seeing is that the world's supply of ammunition is dwindling. Putin will continue to destroy infrastructure with his few remaining missiles.

So the West can either step up the scale of weaponry, or just give in.
