Should the World surge Russia.

If Russia saw many major world powers openly lining up against them in an way that made their defeat an obvious and disastrous fact, I have little doubt that Russia would start tossing nukes, maybe just tactically at first, as they would see it as they have nothing to lose by doing so.

The Russians are just as likely to destroy themselves with dilapidated weapons than they are to destroy the Ukraine. We saw the shape their tanks were in - there is no chance their nukes are in any better shape.

Actually, I suspect Britian and especially France would hand wring a lot rather than retaliate. Ukraine getting nuked is one thing, Britain and France taking nuke hits in an exchange with Russia is another.

Its Russia and China we face, they are militarily stronger than us and ramping up fast, and they have competent leadership whereas we do not.

They will not go to war with the Empire.....they can get a decent deal if they behave themselves....and they are too weak......Europe has way too many self created existential problems.

Nonsense. Russia engaged in genocide of ethnic Ukrainians under Stalin. Everyone living in Ukraine is Russian, since Stalin murdered those who were ethnic Ukrainian's. The revival of Ukrainian culture and adoption of Ukrainian ethnicity by the transplanted Russians living there has been a thorn in the side of Russia since the 1980's. The invasion is Putin trying to stamp out Ukrainian identity, following in the footsteps of Stalin. Russia isn't "protecting" anyone.

Joe Biden is corrupt and has taken bribes from Russia for 50 years. I have no doubt that he colluded with Putin on this invasion as an opportunity for both despots to pillage. Biden again is skimming USAID funds and Putin expected to roll in and gain territory.
