Without seeing the charges or evidence…

Unfortunately agreed. Look at how many hate Free Speech, Freedom of Association, Freedom to Peaceably Assemble and Amendments 4, 5, 8, 9 and 10...not to mention the 13th and 14th.

I find it amazing that anybody who claims to be literate can't see the amateur hack job that the framers did with our constitution.

I've said it many times. It would get a "D" in the first year class of any elite law school in the nation.

I suppose that if one is a "true believer,' one doesn't allow oneself to recognize reality.

but when she didn't list the costs for that Russian collusion fake information as a campaign expense but identified it as legal expense, didn't she do the exact same thing that they say Trump did?.......

Not a lawyer, but shouldn't that be investigated by the appropriate State and Federal agencies? Why didn't Pedo Don investigate it during his four years in office?

You're whining not only about a document that was ratified 235 years ago but was a compromise between 13 anti-monarchist states.

Why hasn't it been rewritten in the past 3 centuries? Do you really believe any amendment could be ratified in today's political climate?

Here's Amendments waiting to be ratified: https://law.justia.com/constitution/us/proposed-amendments.html

And most of them are liars. They know something is untrue but use it for argument anyway, what do they win with that?

Nothing, but they do prove their hearts are evil and maliciously anti-American.

I don't see any whining. I see rational assessment.

If you recognize its compromises and mediocrity, why the reverence?

True believerism is a debilitating affliction that I was fortunately spared, Oom.
We can't all be lucky I guess.

Have you ever been to a town hall? HOA meeting? Union meeting? Any democratic gathering of a group of people, neef? If so, maybe you'd understand why they are different than a monarchy or fascist state.

I've been to many contentious city hall meanings, having been blessed not to live in small towns.
I've not only been to union meetings but to negotiations, arbitrations, conventions, and just about everything that goes with them.

Your obsession with monarchies is hard to understand. They seem harmless enough to me; merely a ceremonial continuation of tradition.

As for democracy, I like it best when it's configured by people who know what the fuck they're doing.
That's why I respect elites rather than tolerate populists.

I feel like I've answered these same questions so many times.
Are we getting forgetful, Oom? You're younger than I, true, but still not young, I'm afraid.

Then what's not to understand here?

Then what's not to understand here?

What's not to understand is this:

My lack of contentment with poorly fabricated democracy is interpreted as a disdain for democracy.

If I truly had disdain for democracy, I would not be critical of our founders' lackluster effort in trying to manifest it.

To me, it seems that they understood that the thirteen colonies were not all compatible to exist in the same republic,
but forced the issue anyway--to poor result.

Obviously disdain democracy since you elect to disregard both how it works and the results.

it was.....the FEC fined her $8000 and the DNC $159,000 as a penalty for the misdemeanor.......

didn't you read Earl's link either?......

So justice was done. What's the problem?

I was wondering if you had since you seemed to be more clueless than usual.

I don't know.....maybe equal treatment under the law?......what do YOU think.....

I favor prosecuting all criminals, regardless of their political party. I know Hillary was a crook yet all I see is people like you seeking to let criminals like Trump run free because you felt she wasn't prosecuted hard enough.

Apparently obvious to you, Oom.
It's reasonable for people to have very different standards, however.
Yes, neef. Due to posts like this:
