Man are you taking my comments way further than I did. I never said we would be in any kind of trouble if we kept debating this, such debate will have no effect on the national system. I am saying merely that Obama must be doing a pretty good job if this is what people are paying attention to, if this is what the Haters are whining about!

I hope how Obama bows is the big issue in future elections... It would mean he did a great job as president because the bow was the best they could come up with!

Obama bowing was an attempt to honor their traditions, but he should not have done it if he knew the Emperor would not return the gesture.

If he was going to bow, to show "respect", then he showed have bowed no lower then on an eye level with the Emperor and should have kept eye contact through the entire process.

We haven't "ceded" any authority; but it does make the US look subserviant. :palm:

Well, I think you get the point.

Your post may have made sense if this was the only thing anybody ever criticized Obama on, or even the most important of them.

And again, you lack the simple fact that this isn't what they "haters" (your word) are whining about.

You and I have spent some time debating his vacillation in Afghanistan, and myriad other things that he gets criticized about that are more important.

What you dislike is that this is one you really can't defend, and one that you attacked Bush about earlier, so you simply try to use attack as defense. Simple protocol, it isn't too hard to learn for somebody who was a Law Professor...
