NYTimes is the best American newspaper for in-depth and original analysis of the Russo-Ukrainian War.

The NY Times is understandably disliked by dumbos who look to Right wing Internet sites for their feel good misinformation, but among journalists and other educated people the paper has long been and still is esteemed. It is the most respected American newspaper in Europe; has won more Pulitzer Prizes than any other paper, is the standard in journalism at The Columbia Review of Journalism. Unlike Right wing rags it separates news and opinion columns; while its editorials tend to be liberal it also publishes conservative columnists for balance.

Meduza, Moscow Times, TV Rain for independent Russian media. Anti-Putin Russian dissident journalists are not going to parrot Kremlin propaganda, but I feel I can trust them to not parrot Ukrainian propaganda and misinformation either.

They usually repeat the propaganda of the US left... if you really read the nonsense of the left, then it will be more convenient for Americans to use the original source.

And this proves what? Remember that Russia was expected to crush Ukraine in two weeks. That did not happen. Russia has lost ~ 150,000 men killed and wounded. They have lost 20 generals. Odesa is still firmly in Ukrainian hands.
 
Why would anyone EVER watch youtube for their news. Only a moron would consider it a news source.
