LOS ANGELES - Many kids used to dream of growing up and being a hero... a police officer. But lately, fewer are choosing the badge.

This is a direct result of the systematic demonetization of police officers over the years further resulting in the reduced incentive to enter the police force.
Instead, you get individuals like these 5 cops, who clearly did not have the temperament to be police officers, but because they "looked like" the community they were 'serving' in addition to the lack of qualified candidates who wanted the job, they were likely hired to check the right boxes.
Memphis will continue to descend into chaos as fewer people will want to take the risk of being a cop , so they will have to lower the standards and recruit more emotionally "questionable" candidates who lack impulse control.

Agreed on reduced encentives to become LEO's. Look at 1/6 where assholes just beat the shit out of cops and called them traitors. Look at how many posts on JPP talk about killing FBI or CIA heroes.
