Electric Cars: Square Peg, Round Hole

Before we decide what to do, we should do a serious study as to whether or not the planet is still realistically salvageable for future human habitation.
Who is 'we'?
What is 'what to do'?
What is 'the planet'?

You have quite literally said NOTHING of meaning here.

If, as I honestly suspect, it isn't, than we can forget about reforms and instead celebrate our good, long run by doing whatever the fuck we want.
Continued gibberbabble (see above).

If it actually appears to be salvageable, which I personally doubt, then we should still seriously consider whether or not we need to go on much further anyway.

There's one thing that we know for sure already: the climate-change deniers are all completely full of shit.

What is 'climate-change'?

What don't I understand about solar units????

Well, a lot of folks think that if you live in a cloudy area solar won't work. I live in the PNW. Solar works fine for me all year long. And we have rainy grey days most days for 6 months outta the year.

Others don't understand how net metering works.

I don't know which is YOUR particular issue but you are pretty much wrong.

LOL.

Laughter. QED that libtards cannot meme. No valid counterargument presented.

I didn't know you had the ability to sell your electricity to the grid. Nice! How much did your setup cost?

Cloudy days can greatly diminish charging. I would think you'd know that. Do your solar panels work at night too?

Technically, it "works" (in that more than zero power is generated), but cloudy conditions will make solar power even more piddly than it already is in direct sunlight.

LOLOLOL.

Get solar. See how impactful it is.

(Why do you guys always talk outta your ass? Why not believe people who have these things?)

It's called "net metering". It is a great thing.

Not enough to matter. I live in the PNW so we get cloudy days a HUGE amount of the year. I maintain a month-over-month surplus of about 1000kWh every month. I've only had to pay an electricity bill maybe 3 times in the past 7 years.

Guess what? Humans inhabit Earth. They build dwellings, produce food and water, reproduce, and are doing quite well.

Your 'reforms' are nothing more than tyranny.

Inversion fallacy. Climate has no value associated with it. There is nothing that can change.
The Church of Global Warming routinely uses buzzwords like this, and ignores mathematics, the 1st and 2nd laws of thermodynamics, and the Stefan-Boltzmann law.

It is the Church of Global Warming that is full of shit.

Whenever a response starts off like this, I know that it's going to be entertaining.

Get solar.
Meh.

See how impactful it is.
With regard to energy output, I'm "still waiting" to see any sort of significant impact. With regard to the children in the Congo working in horrendous conditions to mine up the cobalt for the precious solar panels and especially for the precious EVs, believe me... I've seen the impact, and it's not good.

(Why do you guys always talk outta your ass?
Your issue, not mine. I am a single person btw, not a plural group of people.

Why not believe people who have these things?)
Because whenever I ask them a few simple questions about "these things", they can't answer those questions, refuse to answer those questions, or they resort to whining like little bitches about "private information" even though none was being requested of them. I would believe those people if they'd simply be honest with me whenever I ask them a few simple questions.

Oh jesus christ in heaven will you Conservatives STOP WITH THE ALLIGATOR TEARS over the poor kids in the Congo! YOU ALREADY ENJOY THE BENEFITS OF THEIR LABOR EVERY SINGLE DAY even if you don't own solar.

Let's dispense with this canard. Most conservatives couldn't give one flying FUCK what is mined in their names for their ICE vehicles or the various electronics they use, but if they can score points on a lib then suddenly you all actually CARE. LOL. Sorry, not buyin' it.

Deal with it. Get solar, learn something. OR don't. But don't whine about not having solar and trying to score disingenuous points on a topic you are woefully unfamiliar with.
