“Three weeks and 39 mass shootings. This is America in 2023”

How many people were killed by criminals with guns last year?

How many people killed themselves with guns last year?

And you don't live in a city, so you don't know SHIT about what happens in them.

I live in north fort worth texas.........you should stop always assuming you know things when it's very apparent you don't know shit.

Definitely.

You're willingly giving up an established freedom

Terrorism is not freedom and gun ownership is terrorism.

for the promise of security.

Guns don't make anyone safer.

In fact, they make everyone less safe because people like you have a very hard time acting responsibly with your weapons.

The only one making any promises of security that can't be fulfilled is you...you can't guarantee the promise that your firearm makes you more secure since merely having a gun around you increases the odds you will use the gun against others or yourself.

Why don't they worry more about dying in an auto accident, since that's more likely to happen?

Couple things:

1. Deflecting to automobiles, which have no less than 94 federal safety requirements, only magnifies the issue of how guns are NOT treated like cars. Cars have to be insured, you have to register it with the state, and you must pass exams in order to legally use it. None of that applies for guns.

2. Last year, more people died from guns (~40,000) than on the roads (31,000)

3. 40 years ago, traffic deaths were DOUBLE what they are today. The reason the number was cut in half was because of legislation that imposed safety requirements on cars, and states added seat belt laws. So by taking away your freedom to not wear a seat belt, we've saved about 35,000 lives on the roads every single year since 1980. Guns have not saved any lives.

Terrorism is not freedom and gun ownership is terrorism.
pure horseshit thinking on your part.

If guns don't make anyone safer, then why do you want FBI, SECRET SERVICE, and miliatary to have them? your hypocrisy is noted, so don't bother replying.

Incorrect, it is not against the law if you live in a state with open carry, which I do.

They were pardoned by the governor of Missouri.
There's a difference between brandishing and carrying, dear.

The governor's choice. I wouldn't vote for such an asshole. BTW, a pardon is an admission of guilt. :)

Even better! That would go a long way to cutting the ~30,000 deaths on the roads every year. There is no purpose for a car to go much faster than 45 MPH.

...and most people shouldn't have Internet access, as JPP proves daily.

Neither does any sane person, but there are sociopathic criminals out there that don't give a fuck about what you want and if a 65 year old grandmother stands in their way, they can get shot.

"Can"

So you can only think hypothetically here, whereas I'm thinking realistically since the odds of you shooting yourself with a gun are 0 if you don't have a gun to shoot yourself with.

FBI counterterrorism agents? Yes. Those people have to go through tons of exams and evaluations.

You haven't gone through an evaluation or examination in 40+ years.

your knowledge of government training lacking. You are in no way qualified or educated to speak on it.
