“TSA confiscated record number of guns from airline passengers in 2022”

The Rights in the Constitution are not absolute. The second amendment allows gun ownership within a well regulated militia.

This is the first result of a Google search:

Every day in the U.S., roughly 1 gun is stolen every 90 seconds. That amounts to around 380,000 stolen guns every year, many of which are later used to commit violent crimes.

This was from 2012, when there were about 200,000,000 fewer guns in circulation:

Firearms Stolen During Household Burglaries and Other Property Crimes, 2005-2010
About 1.4 million firearms were stolen during household burglaries and other property crimes over the six-year period from 2005 through 2010, according to a report released today by the Justice Department’s Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS). This number represents an estimated average of 232,400 firearms stolen each year— about 172,000 stolen during burglaries and 60,300 stolen during other property crimes.

New survey confirms majority of guns used by criminals are taken from people’s homes and cars
Well, the numbers aren’t exact but in the last decade over 2 million guns were reported stolen. Estimates range anywhere from 237,000 to 380,000 firearms are stolen every year from gun owners. Gun theft is also believed to be significantly underreported. Most states don’t require gun owners to report when their guns have been stolen.

So now what?

So now that we've established hundreds of thousands of guns are stolen from your shitty kind every year, what do you have to say to that?

and we've established that there are over 2.5 million defensive gun uses a year, but you didn't want to believe that.............what do you have to say to that?

You literally JUST SHOWED CONSEQUENCES...whereas if your stupid ass loses a gun, you don't suffer any consequence at all.

In fact, if you lose your gun, chances are you won't even tell anyone.

with as much as you press for consequences for lost or stolen firearms? what do YOU think they should be?

The guns are safely and securely stored in an armory, and are disbursed only when the circumstance permits...which is counter-terrorism and war.

all done by humans............any of those humans can snap and shoot you, with no way for you to defend yourself...........and if some rapist tries to attack you with a knife, what will you do? wait for those agents or military?

all done by humans

OK and?

any of those humans can snap and shoot you

How can they do that if they don't have access to a gun?

with no way for you to defend yourself.

A gun isn't a way to defend yourself either since you're far more likely to shoot yourself or a family member than a criminal.

And furthermore, the only reason those criminals are armed with guns is because your stupid ass can't store them responsibly.

So you buy a gun to protect your home and car from criminals armed with guns they stole from homes and cars.

FUCKING IDIOTIC.

The suppliers of guns to criminals are people like you. No gun magically appears in a criminal's hands...they get them from somewhere and every single gun that winds up in their hands was a gun that was legally purchased by a numbskull just like you.

YOU didn't read any of those articles because they're all about LOCAL police and LOCAL law enforcement, not the FBI.

there is no distinction. none. the FBI is not required to protect you. IN FACT, i've posted several times about the federal government having zero accountability for failure to protect people.

no, you're wrong, domestic enemy

You are not allowed to carry a gun on an airplane... So it is not an absolute right. A teacher is not allowed to take a gun to school... not an absolute right. One is not allowed to carry a gun to a Trump rally... not an absolute right. No individual is allowed to possess nuclear arms... not an absolute right.
