Jesus is LORD!
Right, and Wisconsin (and especially my area of it) tends to have lower prices than many other States. We have lots of farms here...That's Wisconsin.
Wisconsin is not Buffalo, NY. The Madison area has pretty much only seen a bit of snow leading up to Christmas (besides the blizzard conditions that we experienced Dec 22nd-24th, and that was mostly due to bone cold temperatures and high wind speeds and not due to the few inches of snow itself), and now about a week and a half later we have green grass and we just had a bit of rain recently.Maybe it's because getting anything to the stores there during the winter time is more expensive than in places where blizzards don't pile snow 8 feet high and shut down the highways.
Prices are regional, so you need to say the general area of where you are in order for them to mean anything.I just got back from Walmart.
One dozen grade A large eggs were under $4.
Walmart is generally cheaper than Kroger is. My post referenced Kroger prices (which were at $5/dozen for grade A large eggs). At Walmart, $4.60/dozen was the cheapest that I found for grade A large eggs, with prices only increasing from there.
