What is amazing is that he doesn’t see he is never going to control the Ukraine, even if he was totally victorious, the Ukraine is going to give him nothing but headaches

It will be interesting to see how good the Russians new missiles that can change course are at taking out Patriot systems....The Russians have said that they will be at the top of the targeting list.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said this week that three soldiers were killed after air defenses shot down a Ukrainian drone approaching Engels air base, near Saratov, home to some of Russia’s nuclear-capable strategic bombers that are used to fire cruise missiles at Ukraine.

The governor of Russia’s Saratov region, Roman Busargin, said that Russian air defenses had shot down a drone on Thursday near the city of Engels, damaging a car and garage, but that no one was wounded.

Ukraine maintains a policy of not publicly claiming or denying responsibility for attacks in Russia, even as officials comment approvingly on them.

To my mind- inviting a war is tantamount to starting it. Russia was provoked. Nord Stream was Biden's target. He might just as well have had McCain and Bolton as advisers.

In addition, Ukrainian Nazis shelled pro-Russian Ukrainians for eight years after the US -led 2014 coup. That also qualifies as starting the war.

cant disagree. Nordstream was espionage, and likely US
 
The ' invasion ' was a self-defense maneuver. Putin's terminology- ' special military operation ' was correct at the time. Now it's a war- of sorts. No WMD have been deployed.
