Should Government tell parents...

Is it illegal? One persons sexually explicit is not another’s.

Dumbest post so far. So we should not restrict porn from children because, someone else says it's not porn? Moron.

My Aunt use to think showing cleavage was sexually explicit. Elvis was thought to be too sexually explicit. If the act is legal, it should be up to the parent. There are rock concerts that some feel children should not attend because of the lyrics and performances, but others bring their children.

More of your anecdotal bullshit. You seem to be quite full of it. :palm:

I'm pretty sure that my teaching certification and my teaching career doesn't have a thing to do with any of this....;)

Not directly. People who lie to hurt others often lie about many things. IMO, Never trust a malicious liar.

I'm a pilot. To prove it, should I picthttps://i.imgflip.com/75t3kr.jpgures of me being a pilot? I can, but then lowlifes like your friends would claim they're not mine.

Post a picture of my pilot's license?* NFW...at least not without my name and address blanked out to avoid being doxxed by evil fuckers who deserve to be punished....but then you and your friends would claim I faked those too.

So what should people do? IMHO, they should look at the person's posts, not their claims. Good people do good things regardless of their education or personal wealth. Evil people do evil things regardless of their education or personal wealth.

Which are you, TOP? I'm guessing you are the latter, but sincerely hope you can prove me wrong. :)

IMHO, you are evil without intention because you believe you are lesser than others.

TOP, once you accept your life has many hidden wonders, then you will let go of your resentment, let go of your hate, let go of your anger for failing to reach all of your goals in High School. Sweetie, none of us attain our goals as HS students. HS students are still children. Adults are different. That's how we recognize each other, dear.

Consider the Six Ways of Separation theory. Sure, me being an old fogey loves Capra's "It's a Wonderful Life", but the point is very human.

*it's not a license, it's a certificate.

Did you watch the video clips?

No! And I don't even believe that those would even be the clips that were shown to the students.

Frankly I don't give a crap about what goes on down in Florida anyway.

I care about what goes on here where I pay my school taxes and where my grand children go to school!

I'm not sure what you mean about Clips being shown to students... there were children at the show... and this show is a tour that could come to your town.. which would mean that your grandchildren would be welcomed there and I really don't think you would take them to something like this but that's just my humble opinion...

Harmless right? Moron.

drag queen performing fun.Pussy is so good to eat.

And where was this even at? All I saw was a bunch of women and one little girl at what looks like a birthday party at a nightclub or restaurant and someone called in a party stripper. FAKE NEWS DUDE! This is not public school idiot.

I would not bring my children to an event like that.

And apparently only one parent chose to bring their child- Probably ended up regretting it.

But this is not in a classroom environment and has nothing to do with Public school curriculum!

The topic of this discussion is the event called A Drag Queen Christmas... a tour that goes around quite a few cities in the United States. That is the event being investigated in Florida as being inappropriate for children.. I think if you look at the video clips and the content you would agree..

How many children did you see? I saw one. This is my town- DALLAS. And this was just some birthday party for someone at a restaurant and someone embarrassed the birthday girl by scheduling in a surprise Gay Stripper!

Jesus Christ! I bet the parent of the child that was there had no idea that the Surprise stripper was even going to show up or they would not have brought them.

This happened to me one time, when the company I worked for threw me a surprise birthday party at work and called in a surprise Stripper just to embarrass me for fun. I didn't appreciate it. And neither did the female staff!

There's no need to review anything...A Drag Queen Christmas is the subject...not drag in general...
This performance was not child appropriate...it was porn...rated X...not as advertised...and why it's being investigated...Now that you watched it again, would you be comfortable taking any minor to watch..., even if they were "sophisticated and mature"? But the better question might be why would you...or anyone, even consider taking a minor to a show clearly misrepresented as family friendly, btw...?

I'm sure you know all of this because Breitbart told you to think it.

While, this issue has nothing to do with groomers, I agree that it is likely a winner among a certain subset of ignorant homophobic Trumper’s.

That’s what the goal of the “culture war” is, come up with an issue that will inflame a certain subset of a base, without being important enough to piss off the majority of your base

That is a great description of what's going on now with the MAGATs.

Still, if it is not illegal, and as far as I know, we don’t have morality police, yet. I still believe that parents have a right to dictate how their children are raised.

Reichwingers, fake Christians (and fake teachers), and other self-appointed "good people" think that we need to use the power of government to enforce what they think is "morality." Apparently the laws we have against child abuse, molestation, indecent exposure, etc. are not good enough. Got to keep those prisons well-stocked, you know.

Should government tell parents how to raise their children?

Governor DeSantis is "investigating" the Broward Center for the Performing Arts for allowing a touring performance of drag queens to perform at their venue. The advertisement said, 18 and up, unless accompanied by parents.

Gov. says the equated to "marketing to children."

Do you think the government should tell private Enterprise what type of artistic performances they can put on?

Do you think the government should tell parents what type of art they can expose their children to? If so, who gets to decide?

drag shows are not performing arts. fine for gay bars, not for public consumption.

If it was legal you should have been a okay with it

Maybe most females don't want to see a male in a dress in the woman's bathroom ...but you seem to think it's okay and they should shut the fuck up about it... And if they don't they're a bigot

The example that TRUTH DEFLECTOR sent me in a response was what I described!

I have no idea what you are referring to!
