I feel like House speakers get remembered for a long time, particularly if they were effective.

It's the Senate majority leaders that start to fade for me. I have only a tenuous grasp on the memory of Trent Lott, Bill Frist, or Tom Dashle.

I agree, but I was using hyperbole in the service of a broader point: She has been the most effective speaker in the last half century.

I think she WILL be remembered in perpetuity. For the same reasons hitler and stalin will be remembered. We can’t let the likes of her into power anymore. She’s a master criminal with the moral character of a serial killer.

I'm not a Pelosi big fan....she's had a LOT of opportunities to stop some of the worst of the neocon/teabagger/MAGA GOP machinations in recent years....and didn't have the guts to do so.
