I'm pretty sure that's actually true. I watched a doc about how China artificially manipulates it's GDP by building cities they never intend to use. They refused the west's help and decided to try to invent their own Covid vaccine. One problem with the vaccine - it doesn't work, so their only choice is lockdown after lockdown.

Yep, I have heard the same thing. What would a revolution in China even look like? It would be just a massacre. I don't know about the cost, but Hawk was right about one thing - China is a police state. There are cameras everywhere using face-recognition. You're always under the government's watchful eye and people who don't go the government's way go to prison.

They have two main vaccines Sinovac and Sinopharm. The former is not very effective but the latter is far better.

It looks like SARS-COV2 is now to blow all through China, nearly everyone will be exposed....now we see how well their jabs work.
 
I am reminded that as this bug hit Wuhan many Chinese people wondered if the party was intentionally killing off the old, for the glory of the Empire. The old suck up resources that could be used for Empire Building. The Chinese people many of them thought that the party was capable of this.

So I wonder....will the party deal with this protest of the party by letting the bug run free, and killing off a lot of the old especially the rural? Then the Party comes back to the protestors with "See, this is what we were trying to prevent, and now a lot of your parents are dead....you must let the Party manage from now on...we have yours and the best interests of China in our hearts".

A kind of Judo move.....and a lot of old people get removed from the board....helping China.

The Han are brutal fucks....I would not put this past them.

Minimal effect on others. It'll slow Xi and the communist party down. Changes will be made and the Chinese will move forward again.

There is no covid19 vaccine. Lockdowns do nothing but build an army eventually destined to overthrow you.

Considering that China has spent most of it's history in revolution after revolution, you should look to history.
