The Woodward tapes prove Trump was fully aware of what it was in December 2019. I have no idea what China knew or did, just what Trump did/didn't do.

Wouldn't be just the poor.

The working middle class would also be economically limited to owning one or a small number of guns, and likely not rapid firing, high capacity semiautomatic assault style rifles which should cost several thousand dollars and be difficult and time consuming to obtain.

If you look at the whole picture overall, it's the lower economic classes in which the vast majority of gun violence occurs and which most of the victims are members of.

With the exception of rappers, you don't see people who make a lot of money running around capping each other.
