The GOP controlled the Senate hearings, and members of that panel along with other Republicans publically stated PRIOR to the investigation that they would not even entertain a reprimand of Trump's actions.

Yeah, it's all in the Mueller report. The first section talks about all the secret meetings between the twump crime family and the Russians, and the second section is all about the obstruction of justice - that is - how the twump team tried to cover it up.
