News outlet Heavy reported Aldrich is the grandson of former California State Assemblyman Randy Voepel (R), who is also a former mayor of Santee, California. Voepel, who made a comment to a local newspaper comparing the Jan. 6 attacks to the Revolutionary War, lost his run for reelection during the August primaries

While Colorado Springs Police could not confirm if Aldrich had had previous legal infractions, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office arrested a man with the same name and age in June 2021 in connection to a bomb threat.

Just another example of how gun laws don't work because criminals don't follow the law. Even Hunter Biden violated the gun laws to illegally obtain a gun.

Whether Floyd was a "saint" or not, he did not deserve to be executed publicly. His murderer, Derick Chauvin was convicted found guilty by a jury of his peers. So, fuck you!

It comes from the top. Abbot fled to a fundraiser rather than authorize an attempt to stop the shooting. Finally, federal agents had to step in, because no one in the Republican led state and local government was going to do anything about it.
 
I feel sorry that a young guy got wrapped up in right-wing conspiracies and hate and threw his life away. What a shame.

No. We're against locking up people for absurd reasons. The reason why the prison population today is larger than in the past is because people are being sent to prison today for things that wouldn't have sent them to prison fifty years ago.

Oh, and locking up people for marijuana is idiotic.
